If you are reading reviews then I can assume that you are in a similar situation that I was in just a short time ago, looking for someone to represent me with SSDI. You are lost as what to do, you are scared, you are in constant pain and you can’t understand why you were denied benefits. You are looking for someone who understands what you are going through and can take away the stress.
Trust me, Tammy Holcomb is the person you want to represent you. My first conversation with Tammy, I had a gut feeling about her and her ability to win my case. Tammy is a professional lawyer who is very knowledgeable and understands the jargon to win your case. She was like my very best friend who worked hard long hours and was very patient and kind. I once sent her an email at 11:00 at night with a question, thinking that she would see it the next day. She responded in a couple of minutes. I can’t promise that she is available 24 hours a day but she always responded to any text, email or phone call in a very reasonable amount of time.
I think Tammy does her very best in preparing you for your court appearance by sending you videos to give you a general idea of what to expect. Tammy won my case and I would recommend her to anyone who needs representation. I am forever grateful.

We contacted Lisa to get some assistance in dealing with Social Security, this lady was not only extremely well-informed on our issue, but she answered all our questions and give us options of how to proceed without her having to represent us.
She was absolutely caring and dedicated to helping us without having to be our attorney, we have never experienced that and was quite shocked at how honest and supportive she was in Freely giving us all the legal information and options we needed to be aware of.

Lisa is pleasant, organized, and effective. She's honest--never asked us to stretch the truth to benefit our case, which we greatly appreciated. To process a lot of cases at a time, she doesn't meet with clients until a hearing date is set, so don't expect an initial in-person interview. I feel she was respected by our judge for her integrity and hard work, and that helped my husband's case ("fully favorable" decision.)

I couldn’t be more pleased with Allison Affleck from the company. My case had a change of venue and we faced a very difficult judge who did not allow Allison to present a proper case and ended up giving me a partial ruling. I appeal and ended up back with the judge. The whole time Allison was positive in obtaining the right documentation to submit and this time she was able yo cross examine the doctor the judge had. Everything went in my favor but the judge ruled against me. We appealed again and finally after over eight years received a fully favorable ruling taking my benefits back to day 1.
During the whole time Allison went above and beyond for me because she said I deserved the benefits. The whole firm was very professional and helpful. I could not be more pleased with the representation I received from Affleck and Gordon and I have and would recommend them to anyone especially. If I can give a higher rating I would.

Allison was superb during my third appeal for disability. I handled the first to myself and was declined and I should have called them from the beginning. I was nervous about hiring a lawyer and getting headwinked. Turns out it's a flat fee and worth every penny and more. I was a fool not to do it sooner.
During my hearing the trial lawyer was a real intimidating jerk, I hung up at the end in tears. Allison called me after the fact and assured me that in 2 months if we got a negative appeal we would just file a fourth one rest assured. She just plugged on and tried to put his demeanor out of her mind, asked all the right questions, and kept me focused about the facts. About 10 days later I got 100% positivity on my claim.
It wouldn't be fair not to give credit to Dawn, who handles all of the legwork, paperwork, back end stuff, from my initial call with her to the very end. She was there every step of the way. Flawlessly efficient, pacient, always returning my calls or emails within a day. Extremely competent law firm!
I just wish I called them from the start instead of going it alone for over 2 years!

I was unsure If I should apply for disability because I didn’t know if I qualified until I contacted the law office of Anjel Burgess. After briefly explaining my health situation the caseworker knew upfront I had a case that was worth looking into. I was having a lot of trouble getting paid for injuries received during an auto accident. I had been trying for six months to reach a fair settlement but was getting nowhere. Generally with most attorneys the initial consultation is free as was the case with David. However David saw me again without charge even though my case was too small to require an attorney and gave me excellent advise on managing my own case so that I could recuperate bills and damages. The particular insurance company was dragging its feet about offering a settlement and David gave me advise on navigating their bureaucracy. It worked. They offered a settlement and surprise, surprise it is under fair value as David predicted they would. David even provided the form for me to file on my own behalf in the case. He is the first attorney I would contact. Very honest, straightforward, and has excellent experience dealing with cases.

When I became disabled I started my claim with the Social Security Administration, I filled out and submitted all the forms and of course was denied benefits. I haven't heard of any first time approvals personally except one. One day I ran into an old acquaintance, he was disabled at this point and had already begun receiving benefits. I explained my situation to him, and he said I should have already had a lawyer. He said I could never have gotten my disability benefit approval without a lawyer named Ben Johnson in Athens, he did a great job for me. I contacted Ben the next week and if I had not contacted Ben for help with my case, it would have long been over because the steps that came after the initial denial, appeal and hearing, my wife and I would have had no clue how to go any further or even that you could. Ben is very knowledgeable and didn't spare any of his knowledge on my case. He didn't wait until something came to him requesting information, he and his assistants were always one step ahead in getting any information they could think of that could be advantageous for my case. Ben and his assistants have been courteous and very helpful from the start. It took a long time, through no fault of Mr. Johnson, but he was able to get my benefits approved and I bless the day I met him.

It is evident to me that there are people in the world who believe that all human being deserve to be heard. When I met Attorney Johnson, my husband had gone through three denials from the social security Administration. Mr. Rosenblum took my case after I received my first denial. He has worked hard over the past two years to make sure I was getting my Health problems properly handled with my Doctors .He truly is an Amazing Person who knows His craft with a Back up Assistant like Ms. Venus that are on point. Mr. Robert Rosenblum and his assistant, Venus Dye, have been and continue to be truly fantastic! I had gotten incredibly sick (forcing me to leave a job I truly loved and still miss) and was navigating my disability insurance... A huge nightmare. I was simultaneously preparing for SSDI, which let me tell you is a two-year process of pitfalls, paperwork and persistent follow-up. He was kind enough to refer me to someone who specialized in LTD Insurance with my carrier and he took care of my SSDI claim start to finish. You only take disability when you are sick, feeling poorly or lack the physical/mental energy to work. Believe me when I tell you that the application itself is a full-time job. Even if you make it through all the way, there are things that you need to know and follow up on. This dream team is worth every penny they get from my claim... And that's probably not even enough considering all they've done. They only take the standard percentage for SSDI lawyers and I believe they are also entitled to compensation for copies of records... To which I think one of these reviews referred... He saved them money by allowing them to pick up their own medical forms. Remember, he is not guaranteed compensation unless your claim is approved. I can't say enough good things about the kindness and generosity of these two wonderful people. I would highly recommend them and their firm to someone having to go through the hardship of filing disability.

Mr. Rosenblum and Venus really care about their Clients. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. I was turned down for LTD through my previous employer. I first consulted Mr. Hall about a disability claim. I was certain that I was wasting both my time as well as his. Mr. Hall did not think so. He put me at ease, and his level of confidence in my claim was great enough for both of us. He kept me informed and fully explained each step of procedure along the way. The result being when it came time for my hearing I was relaxed and confident, and it went off without a problem. He was right, I did have a good claim, and we were successful. Kevin delivered a presentation at the ICLE Georgia Bar Association Conference for Social Security Disability that was outstanding. Specifically, Kevin's presentation covered the proper development and preparation for social security disability hearings when a medical expert (ME) is part of hearing before and Administrative Law Judge (ALJ). Instead of just reading provisions from the Law and Regulations, Kevin referenced these but supplemented them with specific examples of hearings, including testimony by the ME and his response. These examples were outstanding and demonstrated his knowledge of SSA procedures but also how to quickly adapt to expert testimony that might derail his case. He also demonstrated his knowledge in requesting supplemental hearings as necessary. Included in the written material for the conference were specific written transcriptions of complicated situations where he had to overcome bias or medical misunderstanding of a particular judge to win the case for his client. His presentation was one of the best I have ever heard and he clearly is outstanding in understanding what to do to win SSA disability cases but he also has the ability to execute a plan to win the case. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a representative for a SSA disability claim.

We recently moved here from Wisconsin.
I was waiting on an appeal from Wisconsin along with my Wisconsin attorney.
The decision came in stating my case go back to the Administrative Judge here in Georgia.
My Wisconsin lawyer decided he did not wish to proceed here with my case and dismissed himself after almost 4 years. I was shocked. What to do now?
I started making phone calls for SSD Attorneys here explaining my case.
Not knowing many people let alone any attorney's here, it was a hard find.
I contacted attorney's via a Google search.
I met with a few, but was either told they did not feel my case was winnable or I just flat out did not like them.
Then I met Leonard.
I spent about 2 hours in his office in our 1st meeting.
He was very likable and knowledgeable.
My new hearing was coming up soon and I needed a lawyer, but I was not going to settle for anyone.
My future was hanging in the balance.
