Mr. Brenner is a very gifted and talented attorney. I retained Mr. Brenner in October of 2017 when I needed assistance with my SSDI claim. He was extremely attentive to my needs and understanding. I first consulted Mr. Hall about a disability claim. I was certain that I was wasting both my time as well as his. Mr. Hall did not think so. He put me at ease, and his level of confidence in my claim was great enough for both of us. He kept me informed and fully explained each step of procedure along the way. Kevin delivered a presentation at the ICLE Georgia Bar Association Conference for Social Security Disability that was outstanding. Specifically, Kevin's presentation covered the proper development and preparation for social security disability hearings when a medical expert (ME) is part of hearing before and Administrative Law Judge (ALJ). Instead of just reading provisions from the Law and Regulations, Kevin referenced these but supplemented them with specific examples of hearings, including testimony by the ME and his response. These examples were outstanding and demonstrated his knowledge of SSA procedures but also how to quickly adapt to expert testimony that might derail his case. He also demonstrated his knowledge in requesting supplemental hearings as necessary. Included in the written material for the conference were specific written transcriptions of complicated situations where he had to overcome bias or medical misunderstanding of a particular judge to win the case for his client. His presentation was one of the best I have ever heard and he clearly is outstanding in understanding what to do to win SSA disability cases but he also has the ability to execute a plan to win the case. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a representative for a SSA disability claim.

We recently moved here from Wisconsin.
I was waiting on an appeal from Wisconsin along with my Wisconsin attorney.
The decision came in stating my case go back to the Administrative Judge here in Georgia.
My Wisconsin lawyer decided he did not wish to proceed here with my case and dismissed himself after almost 4 years. I was shocked. What to do now?
I started making phone calls for SSD Attorneys here explaining my case.
Not knowing many people let alone any attorney's here, it was a hard find.
I contacted attorney's via a Google search.
I met with a few, but was either told they did not feel my case was winnable or I just flat out did not like them.
Then I met Leonard.
I spent about 2 hours in his office in our 1st meeting.
He was very likable and knowledgeable.
My new hearing was coming up soon and I needed a lawyer, but I was not going to settle for anyone.
My future was hanging in the balance.
Leonard made me feel welcome and explained to me that this was not going to be easy and we had our work cut out for both of us.
His honesty and truthfulness helped with my decision.
I felt comfortable and hired Leonard.
Many meetings later and tons of paperwork coming in from Wisconsin, our hearing date was set.
It may have been a bit overwhelming for Leonard, but he never complained.
Always reminding me, this is going to be difficult Joe. I liked that about him.
He always gave me a feeling that he knew more then he was letting onto.
Me, I was helping with getting things ordered from Wisconsin and we both settled in for a long hearing.
I was hopeful having all our paper work in order as well as all the doctors notes.
With Leonard beside me, I knew we had a good case. A winnable case!
Long story short, We Won That Hearing!
We won that hearing on Jan 15,2015.
Leonard never gave up, nor did I.

Great guy and nice folks. I had an injury and the explained the whole thing. They didn'r rush me and answer a lot of questions. They did have to call me back but it was same day. I see why they are busy. I called a few other attorneys in the area and just got front desk help and they were rude or didn't seem to care. When I called Bob Dufour his legal staff takled to me never putting me on hold and they were very helpful. I got an appointmet this week and they are doing a lot for me to get what I need. 10 stars

Bob handled my workers' compensation claim. He met with in person, kept me up to date and answered all of my questions. I had a difficult claim and my employer refused to honor my claim. If I said all of the positive things I'd like to say about Bob Dufour, I'm afraid I'd crash this website. He handled my disability appeal and even though I had a good case, he ran into every roadblock imaginable. Any other attorney would have folded after the first hearing, but not this one! Attorney Deborah A. Stewart is an excellent and outstanding Lawyer. She welcome us as clients, and she always worked in our best interest. Here is just one of many examples that really stood out to me and my husband during our case. We were filing for Guardianship/Conservatorship of our 33 year old adult daughter whom suffer's with a mental illness called, "Schizophenia". We were very honest with her about our finances, and she showed us that she was listening, because she saved us alot of time and money by suggesting that we should only file for Guardianship. My husband and I asked her why did she suggest just Guardianship, she then said, "I know that Conservatorship would mean more money expenses for you and Mr. Ford. The cost along would be a percentage of Katisa's asset, & it would mean more bookkeeping to maintain each year before the annual review required as Katisa's Conservator." Attorney Stewart's knowledge on this subject saved our family money and time. She stated that becoming Katisa's Representative payee would be enough, along with us as her Guardian would be more than enough to support our daughter thru her recovery program & final release back to our home; where we all could have a second chance to be united as a family. Katisa has been gone from us for over one entire year. That's a long time not to be able to see or talk to a love one.
Her professionalism was demonstrated in court as she summons the most critical witness to speak on our behalf to show that our daughter, Katisa was a very mentally sick individual. She could have summon's Katisa's apartment manager as a witness, but I stress to her that I promised the manager, that if she would allow me to pick up my daughter's personal belonging, once she had completed evicting Katisa, that we would not have her called to be a witness. The manager was very gratiful that we kept out word to her, because she feared losing her job. When, I looked over our daughter's personal paperwork, I found alot of evidences that help us win Guardian of Katisa. So the last thing that we wanted to do, was to keep Katisa's apartment manager out of court about Katisa. Attorney Deborah A. Stewart respected our requests, because she trully cares about her clients. Another time after Guardianship was granted to us, she reached out to us when DeKalb County jail was giving us a hard time about releasing Katisa into our care. A third time, she reached out to us when Katisa's defense Attorney Lisa M. Wolff was very slow in returning our calls and emails about getting Katisa transported to a recovery program that we had set up with Peachford Hospital. I'm sure that when we set up a hospital bed with Peachford Hospital for our daughter and confirmed her medicard and medicare at the advise of Attorney Deborah A. Stewart; that's when Katisa defense Attorney Lisa Wolff got Katisa moved up on the list to go to Georgia Regional Hospital. Originally, we were told that Katisa had to wait an additional 4-6 more months, before she would be eligible to go to Georgia Regional for a recovery treatment program. Guess what, Katisa been in recovery for two weeks, now. She's getting the medical help that she really needs.
Attorney Deborah A. Stewart still keeps intouch with us, because she is a woman of her word and a professional-pro in her field as a Family Attorney. She wants to share Katisa's victory, when she finally comes home to live with her family again. She has also stated the facts about Katisa's case to the point, were if Katisa does not recovery, she has already given me & my husband a list of mental institutions that we can visit before placing Katisa into their care. Me and my husband can & do, glady recommend Attorney Deborah A. Stewart to anyone who may ask us for any family legal representation in the future. She is an outstanding, honest and caring Attorney. Bengtson has told me several times that his goals with clients are to treat us in such a way that we come back to him and refer people to him.
He has delivered on that for me.
He got a very crappy injury case of mine in a package deal from the attorney I'd originally hired to represent me in it several years ago.
That one finally settled and had nothing in it for me. Low policy limits and ongoing pain from it because it was a side hit, I didn't know what I was doing and took forever to get treated.
Total mess.
Bengtson was nice about it, and I asked what to do if I got into another accident (really when, because I drive a lot).
I got into another accident.
This one had a semi that caused it.
I called a couple of other lawyers to shop around, settled on him because I'd always been able to get questions answered by his paralegal.
When I came in for the initial consultation he gave me a $3000 check from the case with no money it it. He'd promised to give me something out of it when it was being mediated, but basic arithmetic said I was getting zero so I hadn't bothered to check back.
He DOES NOT use an answering service! So if someone picks up they actually work in the same office (there's a paralegal who works for another lawyer &/or a guy who works reception who pick up the phone occasionally)
The semi truck case settled recently and that was a life changing check for me.
(Partly because I'd wisely let all needy @$$h03$ exit my life without letting them know I was getting anything good out of the accident)
But I haven't had to work since it showed up. And I bought my own place with it too.
It was near the bottom of what Bengtson said my case could bring in, but it was plenty so I was fine with it.
He indicated we could definitely go to court if I wanted, and I think that did have a somewhat higher likely payout for me.
