This law firm does not respond to direct questions relating to your case and available actions to take. They charged nearly 4 times the amount of a standard court filing fee which is by law unethical. I specifically asked them to include evidence in my motion in which they reassured me it was not necessary, in turn my motion was denied citing failure to provide the exact documentation that I requested in my intake with them. Patrick Barkman is gravely condescending and did not even care to address me with the correct spelling of my name. They charge you for the Paralegal to have a weekly meeting to strategize next steps and then when you ask for notes of those sessions they go silent or when a motion is denied they say they need to discuss next steps. So why are they charging for weekly case reviews/next steps? Their firm lost a payment I made of more than $3k and threatened to withdraw from my case. I called their billing department several times asking for Sara Thorp, never got a call back. Their practices are unethical, their communication is nonexistent or full of verbal acrobatics to avoid fulfilling specific requests or answering questions. Don't trust these people whatsoever.

Jake and his team took on my case when I had a hard time finding someone to represent me due to being in the military and moving out of state. The case took a while due to all my medical issues and tracking down my records but his team stayed persistent throughout the whole process. He was able to negotiate my settlement and make sure all medical providers and insurance companies involvied were satisfied. Lastly he and his team were able to secure a fair settlement for my pain and suffering. Nothing can restore me to full health but it will help me continue treatment and manage my pain moving forward. I would not have done this any other way. There is good reason in having a lawyer and true professional by your side to advocate for you! Thank you Jake Eisenstein!

You can never get ahold of these people they do not even keep in contact to inform you what’s going on and how things are going. I would call and have to leave messages and still will get no calls back I had to let them know how frustrating it was dealing with them. The ladies at the front desk make you feel uncomfortable or like your doing something wrong just calling in to check on your case with your lawyers their so rude. Then towards the end of my case I feel I was then being rushed to settle or agree because we agreed on a certain amount to go for at the beginning but then the other company was taking forever to appeal our law suit and Anderson Hemmat just let them get away with whatever they wanted to do and then turned around and said we should accept a deal that was way lower than what we were going for because I am getting more than I should anyway. Do not do it find another lawyer. I had more emails for proof I have to find them.

Sadly, filing for social security was the easy part…dealing with the long term disability insurance company was unbearable. We could not have made it through this nightmare without McDermott law.

If you look online at her current cases, Margaret’s tactics are to lye & wait and she will do this for months, if not years. She will not contact the DA. She was hardly proactive at all. Her demeanor was polite. But it was not worth more than 5000 alone. Forget the comments below believe me when I say you will play the roll of your own Attorney if you hire this one. Half the time you’re lucky if she reaches out or returns a single phone call/text , & doesn’t make you feel ridiculous for asking questions about your case. please continue looking elsewhere. If I had it to do over again, I would!!

I had a vehicle accident in 2020. It is now late 2023 and I can't tell if this case is still on going. They lack communication. I had a lawyer work with me up til the part they negotiate and then he goes quiet. The law firm ends up firing him. And now I'm with a new attorney and he hasn't said nothing other then an email stating who he was and that he's taking over my case. 0/10. Would never recommend this law firm to anyone.

Diedra answered my call and even tho they didn’t handle cases that were specific to mine, she took my information and was willing to speak to her partners to get me good referral to who does! She cared enough that she didn’t want me wasting my time or giving my information to people that were scammers even tho she didn’t know me or my situation.
