After a car accident, surgeries, and nerve damage I had given up on my case after being told by an litigation firm that my medical bills were so high that I wouldn't get anything from the settlement. I felt as though I had no choice but to accept what I was told; over six months had passed. I had no idea Richard Griffin had inquired about my case, stepped in, took back my case, and negotiated all the medical bills. Within 30days or so he had a check for me over $25,000! If you want fair treatment, if you don't want to lose sleep wondering if you chose the right attorney, and if you want to feel confident that your attorney really does care about you and your case then you need to call Richard Griffin. Without question, if it wasn't for Mr. Griffin I wouldn't have received anything from the settlement. Thank you so much Mr. Griffin for working so hard on my case and looking out for my best interests.

ZERO STARS! This firm has the absolute worse communication ever! In the beginning it wasn’t that good but atleast they’d get back to me after a few calls and voice messages, now they don’t bother at all. I haven’t heard from them in months! I have to beg for case updates and it’s only gotten worse now that the case is settled. My experience has been horrible and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Communication is very poor with this law firm . Its been 7 months with no answers or resolution. I had a similar case like this with another law firm and everything was completed within 2 months. Then , the caseworker Taylor has a nasty attitude. Im over them.

This guy doesn’t even deserve 1 star after pushing a DUI case 5 and half years out. He thought he would get away with pushing it out until he felt like even lifting a finger to review the case. Court was set for this week, and Mr. Walker had just obtained body cam footage and reviewed arrest notes THIS WEEK, while also pushing his client to accept a deal that was less than fair. His client could’ve gotten better representation, a speedy trial, and the SAME outcome by just using the public defender. He was also not transparent about the terms of the deal until after going in front of a judge. He was extremely unprofessional, getting frustrated and yelling at his client that they should be “grateful” for what they got when they weren’t pleased which how the case was handled. He tried to bully his client into taking a reckless driving deal with 3 years of probation based off of FALSE information threatening that a second DUI would result in a felony. Keep in mind this is a client with zero priors and has taken off work for court dates that resulted in delayed court date after delayed court date for FIVE years and wants to be done with this. All I can say is, if you want an attorney that will push your court date until the judge is fed up with seeing the case, pick this guy! Editing to add that he has the gall to ask his client to research a subject and “let him know the findings”… When the client has paid him $5000 to do NOTHING for 5 years.

Walter M. Britt is truly heaven sent when it comes to defending his clients. I had to go through 5 different lawyers just receive someone this exquisite and ambitious. I went from facing a life sentence, to a reasonable bond with ankle monitor, then to no ankle monitor, and now my case is dismissed. Even when I doubted he kept fighting for me. I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Sell & Melton. From the outset, the firm's communication was severely lacking, with calls and emails often going unanswered for days. When responses did come, they were often terse and uninformative, leaving me feeling neglected and uninformed about the status of my case. The firm failed to provide the guidance and support I expected, and their apparent lack of interest in my concerns was both frustrating and disheartening. Moreover, the legal advice and representation I received were subpar. Critical deadlines were missed, and important details were overlooked, which adversely affected the outcome of my case. Despite their high fees, the quality of service was significantly below expectations. This experience not only cost me financially but also caused considerable emotional distress. I would strongly advise against using Sell & Melton for any legal needs, as their lack of professionalism and diligence was evident throughout my dealings with them.

My first experience with Nelson & Smith was about 12 years ago when my brother was in a horrific car accident, where he fractured a vertebrae. We were lucky to have stumbled upon this firm at the time, but the attentiveness, care and professionalism, of Mr. Smith and his staff, displayed towards my brother and his case are the reasons why we have and will remain lifetime clients. Since then, Nelson & Smith has handled a minor car accident claim of mine, and the workers compensation claim of a friend. Though none of these cases were alike in circumstance or injury, the common theme of all 3 is Mr. Smith’s genuine care for his clients and his tenacity when it comes to getting them the treatment they need and compensation they deserve, insurance companies be damned.

If you need a Workman’s Comp lawyer don’t look any further. Your answer is Reis Law. I worked with David Rubin, a lawyer with Reis Law, as well as Laura Reis her self. They fought tooth and nail for my treatment, after a serious work injury, and fought for my settlement as well. My case was complex and they became like a family. They put up with my neurosis, and besides just doing an amazing job on my case, it was obvious that they took the case personally and provided excellent service. I had a workman’s compensation claim; because, the company I worked for did not follow the safty guidlines for employees. As result, I permanently injured my knee. Reis Law Firm took my case. Laura’s team was very attentive. They followed up with answers to all my questions and concerns. We settled out of court with a very comfortable amount for my injury. Although I rather have my old knee back, I have come to a conclusion that life could be worse off. The settlement money is going toward my retirement as a replacement for my pension. Her and her office were respectful, attentive, and easy to work with. I had no idea of the rights I had in my situation.
