She took my money, let the case go on for years where nothing happened and then tried billing me thousands over several months when it started again and didn’t even speak to me during that time. Refused to take my calls and her staff billed me when I sat on hold and was told she wasn’t available. She gave the opposing side information I didn’t authorize her to release then withdrew when I had her on several ethics violations, claiming I would not pay her and there was a break down of attorney client relationship-which was on her part because she wouldn’t respond to me. Her staff read all her emails and respond, so there is no true attorney/client privilege. Stay far away from her!

In 2021, had a phone conversation with Lisa . First I would like to say how much her receptionist or secretary was very professional very sweet very kind-hearted. I wish I would remember her name so I could give her credit for her professionalism. Her receptionist definitely gets five stars. However I was extremely disappointed with Lisa. I felt that she would not fully listen to me if she was very short with her answers I found it extremely important matter.

We have a healthy child and a special needs child, so our wills are a bit complicated. Lisa was familiar with the law, very professional yet also friendly, explained everything clearly, and was reasonably priced. She also drew up powers of attorney to give to our children, which I had not thought about. We had health care POAs but regular POAs, which allow someone to get your passwords, pay your bills, sue on your behalf, etc are useful in case both husband and wife become incapacitated, which we had not considered.

I hired Joseph with confidence after discussing my case but sadly my trust was misplaced. The insurance company missed the deadline to respond to my claim, I was not paid a penny for over 6 months, then they offered a settlement for much less then I would be paid had I worked. My attorney did not fight for me and seemed to be on the opposing side. I could never get in touch with him, the secretary was rude to me, I came for deposition and no one notified him that I was there for 35 minutes after they said they did. Now I am told I can either go back to work like nothing happened and not be compensated or if I settle I have to find new employment. He claims I am not entitled to a 20%penalty because the insurance company denied my claim. They want to settle which means my claim is legitimate and I should've been receiving payment 3 weeks after my injury Joseph says this is legal and they can do what they want. True they can deny the claim however they missed the deadline which means a penalty should be imposed. The denial was a tactic to avoid paying. My credit is ruined, bills are piled up, my children and I have suffered tremendously and on top of that they wouldn't even pay for my prescription from the doctor. They cancelled my health insurance and I will have to pay a penalty at income tax and now I'm out of a job. I wish I had hired someone else because CLEARLY I'm on my own!

Bob is a super lawyer! He impressed me from day one. I had an injury at work and had to deal with the IC adjuster myself. I consider myself very lucky when I saw his interview on a show similar to Meet the Press. I knew that Bob could help me out while I had to deal with the IC aduster for my rights to receive a worker's compensation benefits. I especially thank him for transferring my case from NJ to PA with the best benefits possible, which I am currently earning now. Bob always returns my calls and emails promptly. He also spent a lot of time to explain and share with me his tremendous knowledge. I recommend him highly to anyone!

Barb was referred to me by my sons therapist. Being a parent of a child with a disability transitioning into adulthood can be challenging and overwhelming to say the least. Having a compassionate and caring person to advocate for his right to disability benefits made the process so much easier. Barb is a person who made me feel comfortable and at ease from day one. She also treated my son with dignity and respect while helping him to understand the legal process on level her could understand. It is rare to find people in the world who are truly compassionate and caring for others. You can tell that Barb is a person with integrity and is dedicated at what she does because she truly does care about helping her clients. Due to Barb's knowledge and experience by son was awarded his benefits and we can now focus on helping him to transition into the adult world with a little more ease. I would highly recommend anyone who is feeling helpless and confused with the SSI process to give Barb and her wonderful staff a call. I am positive they will be happy to help answer any questions you may have.

I’m a little disappointed I dealt with this law firm for a long time . I sent dornish law over a lease that was not fulfilled from one of my previous tenants. Two years went past and absolutely nothing happened. I had to keep calling and asking Anthony what’s going on and he would always tell me well you didn’t pay your bill so we stopped working on it . Soon as he said that, I would pay my bill and not hear from him for months. When I call back, he would tell me the same thing. They have gotten nowhere with this case I lost $30,000 because I never got rent from these tenants that signed the lease. Dornish law Keeps sending me a bill with interest compounding and I keep telling them just have Brad call me so I can talk to him and I will pay my bill. They are ignoring me and letting the interest compound. . A business owner every time my customers said they wanted to talk to the owner. I would call immediately this unprofessional I don’t know what happened to them. They used to be a good law firm, but I will never use them again. No, they build me over $3500 and I owe them about $1800 over $300 of that interest . Beware of this law firm they are lazy, disorganized, and don’t know how to communicate

He is a lair and does even try to help. He stated ro my husband, who at the time was incarcerated, that I wasn't in the courtroom, but I was there the whole time. Then he asked if my husband would take drug court.. he did no back history because if he did, he would've known he is a state inmate, and therefore, he was not eligible for drug court. He then got a continuance for what he said the next week. When, in was another month out. If you value your time and freedom, you're better off defending yourself than to go with this guy.

I can't say enough about attorney Sarah Seaman, from my first phone call to my consultation. Attorney Seaman listen carefully to what I had to say explain the process to me step by step, advise me on what to expect and how to prepare for the hearing, Even after the hearing was over six seven months later I reached out to to ask for advice and she's always responded in a timely manner and offer as much help as she could. Prior to meeting with attorney Seamen I had an attorney who did not prepare me or explain the process to me and was not ready for the hearing , therefore the hearing was moved back for 5 months. So I definitely can appreciate attorney Seamen and will highly recommend her to anyone in need of a social security disability attorney. Rhett was used for a social security disabity case. He said that I had a good case with medical files to support my case. When it came to the actual hearing, he literally said one word at the very end of the hearing and did absolutely nothing to actually “represent” me. After receiving a denial, it took him 4 weeks to talk to me about the judges decision. I had called him, his office, and his assistant during those 4 weeks. The two time I did speak to him I was told he needed more time to review my case. He would tell me to call him in two days if he did not call me back. I would call him after those two days and it would take him 2 weeks to acknowledge that I called him like he told me to. I had questions about my contract with him and fees and asked him to resend me a copy of my contract and he said he would. Three weeks later, he still has not. A horrible over all experience. I feel I would have had a better outcome with a better lawyer. Please consider another lawyer for a social security disability case.

Hired Prince Law firm to represent me. My case was passed among 3 lawyers and finally ended up being handled. It took close to 4 years for them to file a single petition so that we could present our case to a judge and when they did they failed to adequately present my case. I have email after email from the attorney telling me he would get to it "next week" or in a few days. In the end, the judge wrote in his decision that we waited too long and failed to show our case. The attorney failed to provide the evidence due to negligence or incompetence. Over 4 years after hiring this firm they have destroyed any chance of me getting justice. I reached out to Attorney Prince to explain the situation and he told me that my email was too long for him to read and I should shorten it. I was presenting 4 years of his firms mistakes and he wanted an abridged version. I would avoid this firm if you want to have a chance.

Mr. Warren Prince of Prince Law in Bechtelsville, PA is a rare find in the industry. I have sought his counsel on two occasions, one to file, Pro Se, an objection to an estate accounting and the other to withdraw the objection, again Pro Se. Even though these occasions were two years apart, Mr. Prince gave me excellent counsel both times and truly seemed concerned about me as an individual. He is fair and honest. While we never got to court he quoted me an hourly rate in 2012 and stuck to that rate in 2014. His advice helped me, a non-lawyer, understand the strange workings of the court system in the Lehigh Valley. I would definitely recommend Warren Prince to anybody. Thank you, Mr. Prince, for the excellent service and wise counsel. If you are looking for someone who is NOT your average lawyer, then this is your guy.

He did not even bat an eye over the massive amounts of paperwork I brought him, and reviewed it thoroughly. He was able to guide me through the process and put me at ease. I noticed other "represented" parties at the first hearing alone, but I was there with Dan who took care of everything for me. Stephanie E. DiVittore is incompetent. Retain her if you'd like to lose. She will charge you 3 times what other attorneys cost and lose the case for you. Before she loses though, she will offer to represent you for free when the inevitable loss occurs. I can only recommend you work with these guys if you're interested in losing. Have a great day folks.

Is anyone else having trouble contacting Attorney Lovecchio? I’ve been calling his cell and office, leaving messages, since Sept 24 and have yet to hear back from him.

Now that I see his reviews I'm not surprised. Never answers the phone, says he calls but doesn't and has held a check from me for my dad's estate over 2 months now. He said he mailed it and it was returned, then mailed again but never came. Last week said he mailed next day air..that never happened either.

Dan Glasser isn't a good lawyer. I do NOT recommend him. He wasn't prepared for the trial. He yells at his own clients during the trial in front of everyone. He is very arrogant and thus isn't very effective lawyer. When you first talk to him, he presents himself as a very good lawyer but very soon you'll realize that it's just a show and in reality he isn't good.

We got an appointment with Mr. Glasser one week after I called. He was very thorough and told us what to expect as well as how we were going proceed. He took down all the information about the case and told us the cost of his retainer. Once he received the retainer, he got right on the case and everything was filed at courts within a week. He take such good care of their clients.

Dan Glasser is a ruthless and atrocious lawyer who seemingly (to me) does not consider the effects on a child in custody litigation. Some people like ruthless and atrocious - if so he is your man. I admire his intellect (his accounting background is valuable), and ability to act (thus 2 stars and not 1 star). But in the end, the ones that suffer are kids...and he (and probably his firm) do not consider the pain caused to kids in my personal opinion. If you care about your kids steer clear. He will pit parties against each other to make money despite the impact on your kids. Email me if you want.

What a Workers’ Compensation Lawyer Can Do for You

A workers’ compensation lawyer specializes in helping employees who are injured or become ill as a result of their job to receive the benefits they are entitled to under workers' compensation laws. These lawyers represent injured workers in claims for medical benefits, wage replacement, and other compensation related to workplace injuries or illnesses. They also help when claims are denied, benefits are delayed, or disputes arise with the employer or the insurance company.

Whether you've been injured on the job, developed an occupational illness, or are dealing with a denied workers' compensation claim, a workers’ compensation lawyer can help you navigate the claims process and ensure you receive the full benefits you deserve.

When Should I Hire a Workers' Compensation Lawyer?

You should consider hiring a workers' compensation lawyer in several situations, especially when complications arise during the claims process or when your rights as an injured worker are being challenged. Some common reasons to hire a workers' compensation lawyer include:

  • Claim denial: If your workers' compensation claim has been denied, a lawyer can help you appeal the decision and represent you in hearings or litigation.
  • Inadequate benefits: If the insurance company offers you a settlement that doesn’t cover your medical expenses, lost wages, or other damages, a lawyer can negotiate on your behalf for a fair amount.
  • Delay in receiving benefits: If your benefits are being delayed, a lawyer can help expedite the process to ensure you receive timely compensation.
  • Permanent disability: If your injury leads to permanent disability (partial or total), a lawyer can help you navigate the more complex process of securing long-term benefits.
  • Retaliation by employer: If your employer retaliates against you for filing a workers' compensation claim (e.g., by firing or demoting you), a lawyer can protect your rights and pursue legal action.
  • Third-party liability: If a third party (e.g., a contractor or equipment manufacturer) was responsible for your injury, a lawyer can help you pursue additional compensation through a personal injury lawsuit.
  • Pre-existing conditions: If your employer or the insurance company claims that your injury is related to a pre-existing condition, a lawyer can help you present evidence showing that the injury was work-related.

Hiring a lawyer early in the process can prevent delays, avoid mistakes, and ensure you receive all the benefits you’re entitled to under workers' compensation law.

What Does a Workers' Compensation Lawyer Do?

A workers' compensation lawyer provides a range of legal services to injured workers, ensuring that they receive the benefits they deserve. Their tasks often include:

  • Filing claims: Helping injured workers prepare and file their workers' compensation claims to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Appealing denied claims: Representing workers whose claims have been denied and guiding them through the appeals process, including hearings and court appearances.
  • Negotiating settlements: Negotiating with insurance companies to secure fair compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and other damages.
  • Handling disputes: Resolving disputes between the injured worker, the employer, and the insurance company regarding the amount of compensation or the nature of the injury.
  • Coordinating medical evidence: Gathering and presenting medical records, expert testimony, and other evidence to support the workers' compensation claim.
  • Advocating for benefits: Ensuring that injured workers receive all the benefits they’re entitled to, including temporary or permanent disability benefits, vocational rehabilitation, and medical treatment.
  • Filing third-party lawsuits: In cases where a third party is responsible for the injury, a workers' compensation lawyer may also pursue a personal injury lawsuit to recover additional damages.

How Are Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Paid?

Workers' compensation lawyers typically charge a contingency fee, meaning they only get paid if they successfully recover benefits for you. This fee is usually a percentage of the benefits awarded, and the specific percentage is often regulated by state law. Here's how it generally works:

  • Contingency fee: The lawyer's fee is typically between 15% and 25% of the total benefits awarded to you. You don’t have to pay any upfront legal fees, and the lawyer’s fee comes out of the settlement or benefit award.
  • No fee if no recovery: If the lawyer doesn’t recover any benefits for you, you generally don’t have to pay for their services.
  • State regulations on fees: Many states cap the percentage that workers' compensation lawyers can charge, and some states require the fee to be approved by the workers' compensation board or judge.

Be sure to discuss the fee structure with your lawyer during the initial consultation to understand how much you will owe if your case is successful.

How Much Does a Workers' Compensation Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a workers' compensation lawyer typically depends on the contingency fee arrangement, meaning the lawyer’s fee will be a percentage of the benefits you receive. General cost estimates include:

  • Contingency fees: Most workers' compensation lawyers charge between 15% and 25% of the total settlement or benefits awarded. For example, if you receive $50,000 in benefits, the lawyer’s fee would range from $7,500 to $12,500.
  • State regulations: Some states limit the percentage that workers' compensation lawyers can charge. In these cases, the fee is usually capped, often at 20% to 25%, depending on state law.
  • Additional costs: Some lawyers may charge for out-of-pocket expenses, such as filing fees, medical records retrieval, and expert witness testimony, though these costs are typically deducted from the settlement after the case is won.

You should always ask for a clear explanation of fees and potential additional costs during your consultation so you understand the financial arrangement.

Top Questions to Ask a Workers' Compensation Lawyer

Before hiring a workers' compensation lawyer, it’s important to ask the right questions to ensure they are the best fit for your case. Key questions to ask include:

  1. What experience do you have with workers' compensation cases?
Ensure the lawyer has experience handling cases similar to yours, especially if your injury is severe or the case involves disputes.
  2. How do you charge for your services?
Clarify whether the lawyer charges a contingency fee and whether there are any additional costs you need to be aware of.
  3. What is the likelihood of success in my case?
Ask for an honest assessment of your case, including the potential challenges and outcomes.
  4. Have you handled cases like mine before?
Find out if the lawyer has experience dealing with cases involving similar injuries or disputes, such as denied claims or permanent disability.
  5. How long will the process take?
While it’s difficult to predict an exact timeline, the lawyer should be able to provide a general estimate based on their experience with similar cases.
  6. Will you personally handle my case?
In larger firms, junior attorneys or paralegals may handle parts of your case. Make sure you know who will be working on your claim.

How to Check the Credibility of a Workers' Compensation Lawyer

To ensure you are hiring a reputable workers' compensation lawyer, follow these steps to verify their credentials and track record:

  • Verify their bar status: Check with your state bar association to confirm that the lawyer is licensed and in good standing, with no disciplinary actions against them.
  • Look for workers' compensation experience: Review the lawyer’s website or professional profile to ensure they specialize in workers' compensation law and have successfully handled cases similar to yours.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Look for client reviews on platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to see what previous clients have said about the lawyer’s expertise and service.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their experience in workers' compensation cases.
  • Check for professional affiliations: Membership in organizations like the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) or local bar association committees on workers' compensation can indicate the lawyer’s commitment to this area of law.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most out of your first consultation with a workers' compensation lawyer, it’s important to come prepared with relevant documents and information. Here’s what you should bring:

  • Accident report or incident documentation: Bring any documentation related to your workplace injury or illness, including accident reports or notifications to your employer.
  • Medical records: Provide copies of medical records, including treatment notes, doctor’s reports, and any information related to your injury or condition.
  • Employer correspondence: Bring any letters, emails, or forms related to your claim from your employer or the workers' compensation insurance company.
  • Wage and benefits information: Provide information on your wages, benefits, and any lost income due to the injury.
  • List of questions: Prepare questions about your case, the process, costs, and what to expect moving forward.
  • Timeline of events: Prepare a timeline of the incident, your injury, and any medical treatment or communication with your employer and the insurance company.

Being well-prepared for your consultation will allow the lawyer to assess your case more effectively and provide you with the best possible legal advice.
