I initially met with Mr. Duncan back in January with a no cost, no obligation consultation. At the time, I was overwhelmed with debt (foreclosure, charge offs, and a judgment). Mr. Duncan explained my options in great detail and informed me that my situation (means test pending) qualified for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Mr. Duncan asked me why I decided to contact his law firm instead of the other lawyers in Mecklenburg County. I informed Mr. Duncan that I was thoroughly impressed with the content on his website and his informative YouTube videos. The paralegal (Brooke) that was assigned to my case was very prompt with her email responses and informative. Just as Mr. Duncan stated during our meeting, my court filing date was in March and the trustee /creditors meeting was held in mid April. After I got rear ended at the beginning of my final year of Nursing School, I reached out to Auger and Auger. I was actually referred by another client of theirs who assured me they would help me. My schedule was already so busy, I was stressed about doctors visits, hospital bills ect... Well fortunately for me they handled everything from finding me a doctor for my injuries, my bills from the emergency room and all contact with the insurance agency. My initial consultation with Brown and Assoc was by far extremely comforting. Back in 2014 I was in a horrific car crash by a drunk driver. Totaled my brand new car and as a result I had to undergo therapy and loss of work. Paige was very concerned FIRST for my health and mental status. Never about the money. Hired him to get out of a new construction residential contract after shoddy workmanship by the builder and was getting the run around from them Fred was quick to review the contract and contact and he noted that the contract was not properly ratified by the builder under state law - after a letter went out the builder, we received a full refund of our deposit within 30 days. We will definitely use him in the future! Fred was a true gentleman and very strategic in getting us the best result possible with a minimum amount of time or cost incurred.

We have an ongoing issue. It's complex because there are several parties involve and we're going through a juggling act.
We're waiting on Licensing board investigations but they are delayed and we have no time table as to when they will be finished. Yet the company that caused the issue is trying to push it to court before the investigations are finished and you really don't know what or when you are going to need the attorney. You come up with important decisions where you just need 2 questions answered.
Around here, you call just to try and find an attorney. Most won't even have a conversation long enough to make sure you're comfortable with their experience. No matter what your issue is they tell you they can do it and some even talk about money you can go after but you'll find out it was irrelevant.
These same attorneys are more interested in getting your credit card to get money right away versing making sure they can help you.
I had found one other lawyer on here that dealt with larger issues but he took the time to speak with me and told me what to do and when I needed to bring a lawyer in.
Today is that day so I started my search again. I was so fortunate to find Will DeVore.
Again, he answered several important questions today, advised on what to do next and when to bring him in.
It's so comforting when you get somebody on the phone that's interesting in hearing your problem and concerned about helping you versus hustling you out of your money.
Do yourself a favor, if a lawyer asked you for your credit card to talk to you or schedule an appointment to come in, walk away. Give somebody like Mr. DeVore’s office a call.
The prove they care about doing what’s best for everyone instead of just what’s best for themselves regardless.

It was a pleasure working with Ann and her team. I was hit by a truck while riding my bicycle. I was out of work for 9 weeks, had 3 surgeries, and no way was I in shape to tackle the insurance claims or any other pieces of this case. There was no way I could have dealt with the insurance companies without her assistance. From the start, she explained to me the process and what we could expect and she was dead on. She never set false expectations but stuck with the facts and did a very good job. There were no surprises and communication with Ann was constant. She made me feel comfortable all the way through the process. Her persistence with the insurance companies and knowledge of the law made everything seem so simple (at least to me!).
I hope I never need an attorney again but if I do, I will certainly be calling Ann for assistance. Everyone in her office was very responsive and eager to assist. They were all very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I hired Ann Groninger after meeting with her and her staff of professionals and knew that I would receive justice. Their first order of business was my health and getting me back to as close to being one hundred percent as possible, secondarily the took care of all of my medical expenses ensuring that I had no financial residuals as a result of my accident. From letters, to emails and phone calls informing me of the status of my trial dates too any new and unseen developments with my case they kept me abreast and completely involved, often asking me about my opinions needs and concerns as we moved forward. Misses Groninger never focused on the monetary portions of the case but more so the justice of the case as promised by the law and as promised by her and her elite legal team. We sincerely hope that you never have to experience being named "Defendant" in a lawsuit based on false, malicious, and meritless accusations. Yes, it does happen...and it happened to us. Had we met Fred Ervin when it all started the lawsuit may never have been filed and if it had been filed it would not have proceeded to the extent to which it did proceed. We are certain that it would have been settled quickly and appropriately. But hind sight is 20/20!

Where do I begin? First off when my small business was summoned to small claims court I was nervous. Number one, about the situation in general, Number two, finding a good lawyer who would take such a small claims style case. (Which to me, this was the biggest case in the world).

Listened to what the case was. He was confident in my innocence. Which was a major relief! Shaefer presented my case to the court better than I could even comprehend.
