I initially met with Mr. Duncan back in January with a no cost, no obligation consultation. At the time, I was overwhelmed with debt (foreclosure, charge offs, and a judgment). Mr. Duncan explained my options in great detail and informed me that my situation (means test pending) qualified for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Mr. Duncan asked me why I decided to contact his law firm instead of the other lawyers in Mecklenburg County. I informed Mr. Duncan that I was thoroughly impressed with the content on his website and his informative YouTube videos. The paralegal (Brooke) that was assigned to my case was very prompt with her email responses and informative. Just as Mr. Duncan stated during our meeting, my court filing date was in March and the trustee /creditors meeting was held in mid April. My Chapter 7 Bankruptcy was discharged at the end of June 2016. I am happy to announce that I have just received my brand new secured credit card in the mail on yesterday!

After I got rear ended at the beginning of my final year of Nursing School, I reached out to Auger and Auger. I was actually referred by another client of theirs who assured me they would help me. My schedule was already so busy, I was stressed about doctors visits, hospital bills ect... Well fortunately for me they handled everything from finding me a doctor for my injuries, my bills from the emergency room and all contact with the insurance agency. Actually the first time I even had to come to theIr office was when the settlement was released. Amanda was there for me every step of the way when I had to be a witness in court. She checked in on me, and praised me for my strength. My initial consultation with Brown and Assoc was by far extremely comforting. Back in 2014 I was in a horrific car crash by a drunk driver. Totaled my brand new car and as a result I had to undergo therapy and loss of work. Paige was very concerned FIRST for my health and mental status. Never about the money. Paige's professional handling of my case was handeled timely and ethical. We sincerely hope that you never have to experience being named "Defendant" in a lawsuit based on false, malicious, and meritless accusations. Yes, it does happen...and it happened to us. Had we met Fred Ervin when it all started the lawsuit may never have been filed and if it had been filed it would not have proceeded to the extent to which it did proceed. We are certain that it would have been settled quickly and appropriately. But hind sight is 20/20!
We spent almost a year represented by another attorney defending us in the lawsuit. The lawsuit was out of control and continuing in the wrong direction. We needed to make a change. I contacted Ms. Cheryl Watkins again recently about some questions I had regarding the estate planning she helped me with earlier this year, and was greeted with the same enthusiasm, professionalism, and care as always. The strategic yet simple way that Ms. Watkins walked me through the pros and cons of revocable trusts, the will, the trust certification etc., eliminated all anxiety I had before contacting her. I originally called with the business at hand being the most important agenda, but by the end of the call, I felt like I was talking to an old friend that had my concerns and wishes at heart even more than I did. Our firm consulted providence Law and had a very bad experience. Lets start with basics. The law firm required basic information, what is your firms name, what is the owners name, what is the address etc. and why are you requiring our services. We provided. 2nd step, make payment. Done. 3rd step is for Providence Law to execute. Well guess what, nope. Providence Law repeats step 1. and sends you an invoice for step 2. Well, here comes time for step 3... Nope not again, another one of their representative will call you and repeat step 1 and step 2 and send you an invoice for it. In step 1 and 2 you end up paying $6k in fees. Yes, they did file something, finally they did something, a filing of about 2k’s worth. And then they send you a termination letter when you don’t want to repeat step 1 and 2 any longer. When you try to call and call for an explanation they DON’T ANSWER but send you a legal letter stating representation is terminated. LOL, WOW... I am trying to warn anyone out there..
Well Guess what providence Law. I am not asking for any additional legal services, I’ve been calling you NOT for additional services, NO sir, all I’ve been calling, calling for our original documentation but you guys don’t respond. I will now publicly ask for our original documents filed. Which NEVER previously provided, NO, NO, NO.. Do not say you have originally provided the document. That will be a lie.. after many calls you finally after me proving you never originally gave us documentation, you sent original filings. But there has been lot more documents missing. If you called me Mr. Craig Morgan I could have explained, but you never returned our calls, not even to explain why termination. And I’ve been calling and calling to ask for original documentation but no response. Legal letter you sent saying copies of our documentation will be sent for additional cost. $8k later... WOW...people this is called a legal robbery. Be careful everyone. Don’t Call Providence Law. Do Not seek their consultation. You won’t get anything but a bill for What is You Name.

I don't know how it all works but I'm more than greatful for the settlement they got for me. I do think that more could've been accomplished seeing as how the accident caused permanent damage to my dominant hand. What I got I make in a year from working times 2. I ain't greedy but I do know that I wish I could've been a part of the conversation on the decision made in my settlement. At the end of it all I lost more than I gained.

On June 09, 2018; I was in a car accident on my way to work. To date: I am STILL waiting on a settlement, or information, or an Update as to the status of my claim.!?!? They have done absolutely nothing to keep me in the loop, and each phone call to make an inquiry was initiated by me. Each phone call, I was dismissed and disappointed, and felt as if my case wasn’t important. I called to inquire about the status, and was actually told by an office employee that they were working on a huge case, and that someone would return my call as soon as they were available. Needless to say, that Call was never received, nor returned. On several occasions, I was calling in at least twice a week with updated or new information regarding my case, but was made to feel as if I were a nuisance, and again, calls were never returned. However; I do have to agree, my job has NOT been the most cooperative at providing information to the attorneys, but that IS part of being a hired attorney, that is retrieving that information for the clients claim. I am truly disappointed in my choice in representation, because this was a very easy, open & shut case.

Do not hire this lawyer!He will not respond to your calls will not send you documents when you ask for them which you are legally entitled to he is a waste of time. He likes to talk down to you and curse you his license should have been yaken away anlong time ago he has been disciplined by the state and had his license taken and they should have kept them he is a complete rip off! I would be ashamed of myself if I were him I actually dont know how he sleeps at night! He has caused my son that was in a very bad accident woth brain injuries so much stress he has done nothing but put him off talk to him like a piece of crap lied to him and kept money that my son is entitled to . I have power of attorney over my son which he refused to homor which is totally against the law! This attorney is shady and do not hire him or e enough waste your time as he did for me. He asked for way too much information and did not even take my case. He did not give me any copies of the papers I signed and when I asked he longer wanted to continue. He would not even send for release of medical records on behalf of an attorney's request as I thought an attorney is suppose to do in order to ask for records. After I asked for these he gave me bad news and said he couldn't help. Even after he made me feel that I had a case and pretending to care about my injuries saying he understood etc etc. He wasted precious time in which I could have found an attorney over a month ago. He has put me in a more difficult situation and has caused more emotionAl stress.

I contacted Paul Dickinson regarding a potential medical malpractice case. We spoke for over an hour via telephone & he seemed genuinely interested in considering my case. i certified mailed him everything he asked for: personal documents, audio file, & hospital records on CD. I never heard from him again, despite numerous calls & emails, and he never returned anything I sent him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this attorney. He is very unprofessional & unreliable.

This lawyer, yes he won my case got 20% of 100,000, but sent me a bill for another $1000!!!!!!! After 7 years of working with him he gained my trust and at the end he just completely lost it. The beginning he stated that if he won my case he would just collect the 20%, if he didn't win my case i would have to pay the legal fees which would be approximately $600. Well he won, and i thought the 20% was all that i would have to pay. Then a month later i got a bill in the mail stating i owed more. I called and complained and he kept stating he didn't say that. The only lawyer i talked to i would know what was said and what was not.
