2022 began with so much hope and excitement. It was my daughter's senior year and we were preparing for her prom and applying to colleges. We were also planning a huge graduation celebration. On May 27th everything came to a screeching holt. We received a call from the police. They told us the night before that our vehicle was involved in a major accident and that the driver left the scene. Our response was "no way"! She told us her car wasn't working and we needed to come pick her up. When we arrived there was no visible damage. After repeated efforts to drive the car home and fail, we called for a tow. So we told the officer that this must be a mistake. Our car is in our possession and our daughter is safe. The officer went on to explain what happened less than 24hrs before. You can imagine the shock we were in to hear our recently turned 18 year old was possibly involved in a hit and run. They wanted us to come in for an interview immediately. We did not know what to do as my daughter was facing criminal charges for being involved in a possible hit and run. I called everyone I knew and my brother gave me Mark's number. I had spoke to two other friends and 1 attorney before finding Mark. From the moment we spoke to him, he immediately was able to calm us and put us at ease. I remember so clearly one of the first things he said was "don't worry, your daughter is not going to jail. I can guarantee you that". He patiently listened as we described the details of what we knew. He was meticulous and clear. He was so reassuring and confident that he will be able to successfully represent our daughter. He shared that he has a daughter that graduated from a college in the same town as our daughter was going to. I felt he could relate to me. He explained things happen and people make mistakes. He once again reassured us that he would make sure our daughter would not see any jail time. I asked him about his fee for the 2hr long phone call and he said that all he did was share some good advice and that doesn't require me paying him. Jokingly he added but if you higher me then we'll discus my fees. I remember after hanging up from the phone call saying "I think we found our lawyer". Months passed and we did everything he advised us to do. Sure enough as he said he would do, he successfully represented our daughter. Her future hung in the balance and now things were back on track. We didn't know what was going to happen. God sent us an angel and we are so thankful and grateful for Mark. If you ever find yourself in need of a lawyer I would definitely recommend him. He's very experienced and knowledgeable about the laws and the way the courts work. We are beyond overjoyed and satisfied. Thank you once again Mark. You're a life saver.

After getting arrested three times within the same year, Mr. Pollard was able to negotiate and reduce two possible felony grand larceny charges and one misdemeanor into no jail time or probation. My experience with Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik, PLLC was breathtaking. I was run over by a car in Harlem while crossing a crosswalk with the right of way. The guy driving was 100% at fault. The state bar of NY enthusiastically recommend I set up a consultation with them. So I had a 5 minute call with his paralegal, Joanne O’Connell, it was nice. She wanted me to send my neurologist medical records to review and the detailed police report. Made it happen. Then, all communication ceased. No email was replied to thereafter. The only reason I can come up with is that Kramer, Dunleavy & Ratchik genuinely believe there is no merit in finding justice for pedestrians who wrongfully get run over by a car in the state of New York left with long-term injuries.
So I found an actual attorney who got to work, now everything is good.
This concludes my final thoughts on KD&R for now. I’m extremely honored to have been in Joanne’s presence. She and KD&R are extraordinary human beings - but has no follow through and all that talk lead to nothing.

After I tripped on an uneven sidewalk on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, my neighbor, a longstanding friend, introduced me to attorney Jonathan Ratchik who took my case on as he and the doctors deemed my left foot was severely injured.

8 years ago, I'd had multiple surgeries & just managed to pay for my mom's Alzheimer's care when she died. I was totally broke. Couldn't work. Barely surviving. My debts happened before any of this. I contacted debtors to workout a reasonable way to go - no good. Then I came to you. Almost 8 years to the day back from today I had no more debt. Since then, while I have health challenges & can't work, I have found a pretty wonderful way to live. I made it 6 years paying cash only, then started to build credit again, and now my rating is around 700. In 2 years the bankruptcy will be off my credit record & it will go higher. Without your services, I wouldn't have had a chance in hell. Yes, it was definitely a new beginning. I may be 79, but I'm 79 going on 50!

Our mother was diagnosed with mesothelioma in February 2017. It was an extremely difficult time for our family.
