I used Stephen Bilkis & Associates for a speeding ticket and they were amazing! Always available to answer my questions and constantly kept me updated on the status of my case. Their office manager, Danielle Rizzo, was exceptional. She answered any questions she could and was quick to get me in touch with my lawyers whenever I needed. I would recommend this office 10 out of 10 times!

I lost my job because of this lawyer and his receptionist. I’ve been dealing with this company for over 10 years and they messed up my paperwork. I’ve called for months and months and months asking “When will I receive my updated information and they kept telling me it’s in the mail but nothing came. The receptionist talk and treat me like I was beneath them because I’m an immigrant and needed their help. I was beneath them. They would have me on hold for 20 mins then hang up the phone on me. I would call back and They would pick up the phone and just hang it back up.They disgraced me. Finally I had to get very serious and asked to speak to their boss. That is when they had the nerve to tell me that my stuff was delivered months ago. But I did not receive it. I spoke to the lawyer and this man really had the audacity to tell me that he’s “not running a charity case” and it’s my fault that I did not receive my paper because I should’ve been checking the mail. He stated that I have to pay to start the whole process over, when I already payed them to take care of this issue for me. Now I’m jobless, almost homeless and about to lose my car. I am so hurt and I just don’t know what to do. I had to go and reapply and now it’s been over two months and I still have not received anything. I’m so disappointed and will not deal with this place ever again

Daniel C Gallagher PC front desk receptionist and secretaries have provided me with the worst experience I have ever had in an attorney office. The attorney Peter is outstanding but the team is very unprofessional. They have no common courtesy, no empathy, no urgency nor consideration for clients or my situation. I checked the online portal and saw documents request was made on my case almost 2 months ago with a deadline closely approaching. Documents which I had previously submitted is being asked for again because I have the lawyer’s address as I thought it would be quick and efficient but I was super wrong. I asked about the update with them and I was very rudely told that I will be called. It was until I took a day off of work and went there and saw that the requested document was already in my file for over 50 days but I was never called about it. I mean that’s the main part of their job to keep the clients updated on what’s needed for the case. I asked the front desk receptionist for a copy of my document so I can provide accurate details to the persons I am requesting additional information from, the receptionist basically shrugged me off stating they will let me know if new information is needed. What made me angry is they did not read nor present me with a copy until I became persistent. It’s either they are prejudice or simply have no decorum. Had I not looked and taken the initiative to visit the office, when would they have contacted me? Who’s responsible for this wasted weeks of my time. Only after I requested a copy she read the letter and then realized request for additional information was needed. I also asked for a letter from the attorney. the receptionist got up, went to the other receptionist whom I noticed is on her cell phone on social media, they mentioned my name between themselves … then frustrated she gave me a copy and under her breath she said “ Go Crazy”… I have been waiting and struggling anticipating updates everyday on my case. Every hour everyday is important. Then here comes these clueless Front desk receptionists, who tried to make me feel inferior when communicating with her. I left in such a terrible mood and is very disappointed seeing I paid a pretty good amount for their services, and to be treated like this by the receptionist is appalling. Looking down on others!!!! It seems their job is of no importance to them. The attorney needs new professional staff ASAP. I will keep this attorney on my case but these receptionist is nothing short of incompetent.

This guy is awful. I signed a retainer with him thinking he would help me with an awful accident I was in, and he did absolutely nothing. There was a video of the accident, I was gravely injured and lost my job and academic career over it, and he did nothing for me after agreeing to represent me. Gave me no advice, never even interviewed me to see how I had been injured or what I had lost due to the accident. Worse than that, he sent me to a doctor (citimed) during covid and they didn't take temperatures or wear masks. He put my health in jeopardy and traumatized me. I saw cockroaches in the corners of every room. He failed to get the surveillance video of my accident, refused to take any phone calls with me until I threatened him with a lawsuit, then when I confronted him with the way he mishandled my case he dropped me as a client. Reporting him to the DA and the bar. I can't believe he's practicing.

I retained Jonathan Mann of SSRGA for an appellate case. He was meticulous, organized and thorough. He communicated very clearly. We handled the entire process via phone and text. The appellate court ruled in our favor. I would definitely have Jonathan and SSRGA perform any appellate work I have in the future based on my experience and their performance. They are expensive. However, there is an old adage - you get what you pay for.

We are from out of state and were visiting NY. My wife fell on a slightly raised platform on the sidewalk and severely broke a bone in her hand. To the casual observer it might not have seemed like a serious injury, which is what the other side maintained, but Mr. Gershbaum immediately understood the severity, kept us well-informed every step of the way and always gave us our options and his opinions (as well as his colleagues) as to the merits of the case and where he thought it was headed. He made us aware of the developments in NY State law that had the potential to impact the case and when a settlement was offered explained the possibilities and gave us his opinion but allowed us to make the decision without pushing in either direction. We were extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Mr. Gershbaum for his knowledge, professionalism, understanding and overall performance and results.

I had property dispute with my relatives abroad. The foreign court gave judgment in favor of the plaintiff. They tried to convert foreign judgment to New York State judgment.
The New York State Supreme Court rejected their case and they were
unsuccessful to get any money from me. I credit all the success to Mr Gershbaum ,s dilligence ,research and keen interest in such rare case. He was always one step ahead of the other party, Throughout the case ,he was very professional and pleasant. He was very innovative and receptive to my ideas. I would recommend Charles Gershbaum to anyone because I had a malpractice case that was in total disarray, it was released by two attorneys, and many others did not want any part of it. Then by a stroke of luck, I was put in contact with Charles Gershbaum. I feel compelled to warn others about this law firm after my terrible experience following a car accident. My advice? NEVER HIRE TV LAWYERS!
These attorneys are primarily focused on settling cases, and I had to fight with my own attorneys just to get a marginally better settlement. Communication was attrocious; it often took days for anyone to respond. When they did, it was clear they weren't paying attention—duplicated emails were common, showing a complete lack of professionalism.
The worst part? When we finally received our settlement, they couldn't even bother to meet my mom in person to thank her for choosing them. Instead, one of the attorneys coldly handed us our check after years of silence. On top of that, they hit us with unexpected charges for things like certified letters. It’s shameful.
This firm is more concerned with their image and commercials than actually helping clients. If you're looking for competent legal representation, do yourself a favor and find a private personal injury attorney who will truly fight for you. My experience here was a complete letdown, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

I am honored to express my gratitude, appreciation, and experience with Mr. David Cohen and his team. About a year or 2 ago, a family friend of mine went through a very difficult period. We were fortunate enough to be referred to Mr. Cohen and have him represent my friend during a helpless time.
As a graduating law student, I want to share my experience with Mr. Cohen as I sat along side my family friend throughout the proceedings. I could not have gained a better insight into the real life practice of a criminal defense attorney. From start to finish, Mr. Cohen was persistent and fought for his client - providing brilliant legal strategies and responses to anticipated opposing counsel arguments.
As a student, law school serves a (great) purpose - learning the law. But real life work is a different adventure altogther. Observing Mr. Cohen practice and successfully represent someone so dear to me was nothing short of inspirational.

I don’t think I could ever put into words the kindness, sympathy, intellect and professionalism that these attorneys showed to myself and my family. Cory Forman and David Cohen were literally life-savers. To give a brief background, my mother was stuck in Europe after she mistakenly traveled on an expired permanent resident card. I thought that she would be stuck for months alone in the midst of a broken immigration system, with delay after delay to her documents. Cory and David somehow knew exactly how to solve this situation and immediately made all the calls necessary, spoke to the right people, filed the right things and pulled off nothing short of a miracle. My mom was back home safe and sound on American soil within days. She was treated with the care and attention by this entire firm as if it were their own mother stuck in some foreign country. Safe to say, there is no where else I will go for all immigration concerns from here on out. 5 stars is not nearly enough for the great job these guys did. A true class act all around, we are forever indebted to them.

I cannot stress enough how great of an experience i had working with CFB. Their team is exceptional and trustworthy. They maintained constant communication while my case was being worked on. We recieved a letter from Consumer Law attorneys which suggested I was behind on mortgage payments and I was in foreclosure. After checking with my mortgage holder, it was determined that I had been sent a false document suggesting I was in foreclosure. This company is obviously preying upon individuals who believe that they are in dire straights financially. This company should be investigated by a state attorney general, in order to prevent moe victimization. Shame on you! I also have not hired or consulted them. They wouldnt connect me to Arther A Luger esq. , whom I highly doubt is an actual lawyer.

I am still in the process of suing someone who hit me from behind. (7/2013) I just recently had surgery as a LAST(3 /28) resort. I had to do ALL of the leg work fighting with the insurance company to get this approved. I was hitting a brick wall. I finally received a call back and spoke directly to him asking him how much money my case could generate and it got the ball rolling. Letters were FINALLY sent out to aid in getting this surgery approved. It took me 6 months to get results . Linda, his secretary, while awesome, definitely put you off and makes you think that Randy is working on your case when in fact he has no idea what's going on. He does NOT return your calls in a timely manner. But I'm sure his hand will be out for his third of the case. I am not an expert, and have never sued anyone before. But I thought that hiring a lawyer was supposed to help you get results When spoken to, he has to find your file to look at it. Either he's in the weeds and needs help or is incompetent I have yet to decide. I had surgery 3 weeks ago and have asked for advice. I have re sent the request 3 times. perhaps I'm naive but I could use someone to help walk me through this process. I think a call to one of the higher-ups might get me some positive results I will send a new review when this is all said and done. When ask below if I would ever use this lawyer again that answer is up in the air. We will see what the end result brings

I HIRED RANDALL RICHARDS AND WAS APPALLED AT HOW I WAS TREATED.
