My dad hired this guy, won a 6 figure judgement, and this loser slept on the paperwork so long that the money he won rights to is now gone. The level of injustice I’ve witnessed from this process with this firm is pure evil. It’s been months and I’m still in disbelief that you can win a lawsuit and still never get a penny.

Stewart Forbes was appointed temporary DEPENDENT administrator to the estate of my mother’s late husband. It is my understanding that he MUST have a judges approval on any decisions made. He has been extremely unbiased while handling this estate. Any time my mother had questions and she would reach out to Stewart she was immediately referred to her attorney Susan Forbes. Stewart went out of his way for the animals on my stepfathers estate when there was no alfalfa available and sent someone to feed the animals with his OWN alfalfa. He is fair and does everything by the book. He definitely went out of his way to help the animals in need of food and has shown extreme professionalism in everything he has handled thus far.

Stewart Forbes was assigned to my father's estate as an temporary administrator even though his spouse was representing my step mom. Stewart Forbes never contacted any of the siblings from day one. He only represented the the interest of his spouses client. His only goal is to sell everything off in an estate as fast as possible to make his commission. He does not follow any of the guidelines set forth by the state. Multiple emails and attempts to communicate remain in awnsered. The one time he did respond it can off like a angry two year old. This man will not serve your best interest.

One of the pet peeves of dealing with law firms so far, is the gate keepers, when they say no "not willing to take your case", especially after saying that and if I request to speak with a manager of the firm and they still say 'No' as if they own the firm. In any case the lady conversed with just did not bother forward my inquiry to an attorney, because it was an EEOC case. Regardless what type of the case it is, law firm should still give an opportunity for an employee to tell their story, especially if they will provide circumstantial evidence and when it comes to EEOC process. Especially if the employee had already done majority of the paperwork and all the firm needs to do is provide assistance for the rest of the way. If they do not have experienced attorneys for EEOC cases, well that's a whole different story. Regardless, they lost another business.

When we were searching for a lawyer, we felt that God led us to this firm. My husband had a business depute with a corrupt partner who was a bully, a liar, and a thief. We initially filed a lawsuit in 2020, at the height of COVID. We had a very good lawyer to help us through the case for the last 3 years but he unfortunately passed away this earlier this year. We needed to have someone else represent us, and we chose another lawyer firm (not this one). That lawyer from the other firm dropped our case because we didn’t agreed to have second mediation, even though we thoroughly explained to him we knew it was a waste our money, since the first mediation was very unsuccessful. Again in search of a new lawyer, God led us to the Godwin & Bowmen firm; the name Godwin itself was a very favorable sign for us. After we researched about Mr Ira Bowman we decide to have him & his partner (Ms Samantha Baynes) to help us with the case that was ongoing for over 3 years. Within 4 months we got the court day & my husband won the case - Praise God! I give thanks to Mr Ira for his knowledge, wisdom, boldness, friendliness & humility. The second lawyer that we had that dropped us was really prideful. Wasted a year and 6 grand plus dad's 2300 through another law firm they got help from. And had a issue with a house, ex wasn't paying and ruined my credit and they took almost a year to reword the decree for equity and when I stepped forward to share my thoughts with judge. He said we'd be back and 2 days later, they finished what they were doing. SMH. And still house is under my name ruining my credit. My family and I were beyond grateful for all of John's help. When we first met him we were not in the best of situations and John took time to come to our home on a Sunday to hear our case. It’s hard to write a review that encompasses the kind of wonderful person and professional Michelle is.
Michelle handled a case for my then 9-year son that came to her just weeks before the absolute statute of limitations was to expire. I believe we filed it about 43 minutes before the statute of limitations actually expired. I had originally reached out to a non-profit, due to the circumstances of the case, and they found me Michelle since they needed someone “on the ground.”
I was nervous before our first meeting. I was nervous a medical malpractice attorney would be so “out for blood” that they would forget there was a child in the middle of this. My fears could not have been more unfounded. Michelle was professional, caring, and kept my son at the center.
Michelle’s professionalism extends past her interactions with clients. She is well respected among defense attorneys and treats individuals with respect, recognizing the stress of a lawsuit on everyone involved, greatly diminishing what can be so incredibly adversarial and stressful.
In the middle of the case my son tragically died unexpectedly due to reasons completely unrelated to the suit. His death diminished the strength of our case under Texas law dramatically, but Michelle said she would keep working if I wanted her to. The case was resolved to my satisfaction due to her talents as an attorney, as well as the respect she has from defense attorneys, and even the doctors she litigates against, for her consciousness and strong ethics.
The world lost an incredible young man when my son died at 11. Michelle was able to still get me an outcome that everyone, even the defense, agrees will help continue the legacy of this amazing little boy, taking nothing for herself, and has become a life-long friend.

People who have left less than stellar reviews simply do not realize the complexity of the legal system and the fact that despite our pain and suffering, we have to adhere by timelines and statutes. She is not a blue collar lawyer, she could care less about your case unless you have large assets and sums of money even then I would be skeptical and hate to see what her fees would be. My case was supposed to be fast as I was told it, drug out for almost 8 months. When I called or sent text messages she acted as it was a huge inconvenience, she went on vacation or out of town throughout my case.
I have no children with my ex and I was completely taken to the cleaners, my ex took money from me up to the very last day and I had no say, when it was all done I was not even informed that my divorce was finalized. Read the reviews and do your research.
Worst part is she was recommended by people who do have money and wealth.

Absolutely loved our experience with Melody! She is very efficient -- we inquired with her on a Monday, paid her on Tuesday and papers were served by Friday. (She also had to locate the person so this timeliness shows how efficient she is!) She wasted no time, and SHE personally answers all questions and handles everything herself rather than delegating the real work to her assistants. I hope we never have to hire another family law attorney but in that case... I will always run to Melody Cooper! And anyone needing an attorney for family messiness, I highly recommend her!

Son unas personas tan desagradables y tan poco profesionales. En el 2022 pagamos 5 mil dólares a la abogada Monica Saenz para hacer una petición para mi hijo y para mi esposa. En ese entonces yo era residente. El año pasado me hice ciudadano y ellos vinieron con una visa de turista a Estados Unidos y ya no se regresaron a México. Cuando me hice ciudadano les pedí un ajuste de estatus. Al meter el ajuste de estatus nos dimos cuenta que ellos jamás sometieron un I 130 para mi hijo. Y ellos solo dijeron que eso no era necesario que porque mi hijo iba incluido con mi esposa. Pero eso no era verdad. Ellos no hicieron su trabajo y nos vieron la cara de tontos. Tenemos dos días pidiéndoles una solución y ellos no aceptan su error. Los asistentes muy groseros. no todos pero si la mayoría de ellos si. La abogada nunca nos dio la cara y después solo llamó para tratar de intimidar y asustar diciendo que no nos volviéramos a parar en sus oficinas que porque estábamos dañando sus instalaciones y en ningún momento eso fue así. Ellos tienen cámaras de seguridad y está claro que eso nunca fue así. No pierdan su dinero y su tiempo con estos abogados que solo roban el dinero y el tiempo.

My case was referred from the law office of Jacobs O'Hara McMullen regarding two non at faults accident to cut down on legal fees from Houston, TX. Since my case has been referred to Zeke I have not spoke to Zeke not once over the telephone. I only recieve replies after weeks by emails only. I can't and have not recieved one update regarding my case and I never get the phone call that was promised via email. I have recieved nothing but empty promises and the run around time and time again after months of requesting any info or transparency. I do not have much experiences with lawyers and thank God my life hasn't required me to till now, but assure you I am glad I now know how they can be and what a terrible one now look like. After having your life derailed the last thing you want to have to add to pain and suffering is having your lawyer be a pain and aid in more suffering. Sure he might have helped others but I wasn't.

I DO NOT recommend this law firm. In September of 2023 I was referred to this firm after having a serious 4 car MVA. Without any notice they gave my case to another law firm I DO NOT recommend. After I shared my concerns about the firm “they” gave my case to I was told I probably need to go to there office to get someone to actually communicate with me referring my injury claim. There’s so much more I could say but none the less it’s a NO, Never again for me.
