Catherine DeVito and Richard Riccari were amazing in guiding me through my legal matter. Both were professional, very thorough, and patient with me having a myraid of questions. Richard Ricardi and Catherine Devito mishandled my fathers probate case terribly. First by filing it in the wrong county which delayed the entire case by several months, giving poor legal information, lack of empathy or care for their client, and limited documentation provided over a year. After several emails and phone calls trying to contact them on updates of the case they would not respond at all or would get back to me which would take months in some cases. If you want someone that’ll care about the case and yourself don’t go to these guys.

I got in a car accident last July and hired a lawyer to represent my family and I. This lawyer didn’t give me the warm and fuzzy’s and more so lectured me. A friend of mine gave me Rita Jackman’s number. I fired my old attorney and let me tell you. From the very first call I made to her she was working. She had the at fault drivers insurance on the phone in a matter of minutes. She told me what the outcome was going be and worked hard for my family. I can not express my gratitude for Rita and her Law Firm enough. I would recommend them 10/10!!!

Car accidents are a very complicated situation but Rita Jackman made the experience so much easier. She truly cares about making sure I was taken care of after the accident. Communication from her and Noelle was extremely well. I just want to thank them for your hard work!

My dad died in May. By November, nothing was done. They called me “crazy” bc they said I didn’t know what I was talking about and what I needed couldn’t be done, which was a simple change in ownership of my dad’s life insurance policy. The day I fired them, I emailed the Life insurance company the same info that I asked Rich to do for 8 months, and the policy was changed into my name the next day. He still says I’m crazy, which seems very unprofessional and definitely not an advocate if you ask me. Especially since it’s so easy to prove they didn’t do their job. One person tells you one thing and another person tells you another.. then they blame the client for being confused.

Their support was essential every step of this process and I could not be more grateful for how well everything was handled. Thank you to Ms. Castrillon and Ms. Alvarez for their attention and care provided.

I don't wish the family court on anyone. It's a slow, painful, and outrageously expensive place for any family be. Sadly there are attorney's who have more interest in financial affidavits than actually serving in the best interests of children and families. It took me a great deal of effort to find an attorney who wasn't like the rest, and I'm thankful I found one in Mellany Marquez-Kelly. Attorney Marquez-Kelly acted professionally and in good-faith throughout my case. She did not run up my bill unfairly, and she had ample opportunity to do it which ultimately earned my trust. She put my kids first, and I assure you that if you actually find yourself in a court room setting there is nobody better. Communication was excellent thanks to her team of Sabrina Martinez and Francy Benoit who were both great as well. The best advice I could give anyone who finds themselves stuck in the family court is to put your faith in Mellany to handle it, trust her advice, and then go enjoy the beach until she calls you.
