In 2017 My wife and I were rear-ended sitting at red light. My rotator cuff was torn due to the impact forcing my shoulder into the seat belt harness. Surgery was required to repair my torn rotator cuff. I contacted the Trelles & Bichler Personal Injury Law Firm. From then on everything was handled professionally and timely. A settlement was made and I received my monetary award faster than I ever expected. I was very impressed how everything was handled. My surgery was a success, our car was repaired quickly as well. But it doesn't end there. Just over 3 years since the accident which was a distant memory I received a call from the attorney that handled my Margaret Bichler. At first I thought it was basically a cordial follow up to see how I was doing since the accident. BUT after the cordials Margaret tells me she has some good news for me. My mind quickly wondered and I was thinking maybe they discovered a very small monetary discrepancy. So I didn't get to excited until she told me she was able to get me an additional 10K due to some recent legal ruling that came forth. This is over 3 years ago I received an additional 10K that I had no idea was even possible!! So yesterday my day was made by them. I never get phone calls that I have money coming to me. I was in a devastating car accident in December of 2020. As a college student about to graduate this in all honesty ruined my life. The cops couldn't even care enough to get my name right on the police report. I lost my health insurance due to covid situations and I was in line to get benefits from my job starting on the first of January 2021. Unfortunately for me that was never going to happen. I also was never going to attend college this spring semester(because I couldn't work I couldn't pay my tuition and I was removed for nonpayment). As I watched my friends get ready for graduation I had to go to doctors appointments three or more times a week. I was scared. I had no insurance. My case closed and I am going to take the check from this whole horrible couple months and put it towards my last semester. I have nothing but praise for Suzanna Scarborough. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable about workers compensation heart bill cases in Florida. I was diagnosed with hypertension and cardiac arrhythmia while employed by Miami-Dade Police. The county refused to provide medication prescribed by my cardiologist resulting in me having to pay out of pocket. They also refused to cover my cardiology appointments. Miami-Dade PBA recommended the Law firm of Bichler and Longo. I contacted them and Suzanne represented me in receiving the compensation that the county refused to provide. She kept me informed of everything that was happening throughout the process. She was successful in getting me compensated for the money I was owed by Miami-Dade County. Suzanne’s “Suzi” knowledge & capability . I’ve been a client for over 4 years now with Suzi and fortunately for me I will be with Suzi as long it it takes. My case circumstances end up as a catastrophic event. Note: Every workers Comp Attorney you meet is willing to give it their all in the beginning. However I found out very quickly, the newness wears off very quickly as it did with my 1st Attorney. I can honestly say this will not be the case about Suzi’s knowledge,determination, wisdom and this old fashion expression & please pardon my comparison Suzi. Suzanne is like a friendly dog with a bone, no matter how friendly or how long it takes she won’t let go!!! If you give your personal situation like I did to her, you wont under estimate her kindness caring mannerism for weakness. She is exactly the opposite when it comes to your defense. That being said of course not everyone can be as luck as I am to get Suzi as my personal attorney. But if you do get her take it from me personality. You are in great company of a caring representative. I believe that each and everyone in this firm is hired based on this set of standards. I have an extremely complicated case . Even my former employer sent me to Mayo Clinc along with 4 other large specialty hospitals. Suzi has been on this tragic journey with me all the way. Anyone can start out with good, caring, intentions,services however can they keep up the same services year after year? Suzi and this legal firm does exactly that.
