I first retained this firm back in 2019 when considering a divorce. At the time, I did not proceed with filing. Fast forward 4 years. I contacted them again and I was assigned Mr Brian Prieto as my attorney. He has been working with me since 2023. I cannot say enough about Mr Prieto, Mr Cabanas and their entire support team. They have kept me appraised of every step of the case. Mr Prieto even had to file a separate no contact/dv order in the middle of the proceedings. Cabanas Divorce and Mediation understand what a difficult decision it is to decide to end a marriage so they even have a wellness coordinator who makes regular calls just to check on the mental health and well-being of their clients. If anyone is considering retaining a firm that will take care of you throughout the entire process, you should look no further than Cabanas Divorce and Mediation. If Google allowed more than five stars Cabanas Law Firm would be at the top of the charts!!!

I hired this law firm and ultimately dismissed them from my case. There were a lot of unreasonable charges. Anytime I would scrutinize a charge, that would be another charge as that is considered working. A day after my bill was due, I received a text advising they will file a motion to dismiss me as a client unless I pay by end of day. That was quite the slap in the face as I had never missed a payment and had been up to $18,000 in payments at that point. This was already a very difficult and emotional time in my life, these people were cold. I dismissed them, hired another attorney with better rates, better treatment, and the outcome I wanted. Gotta say it felt great when I dismissed them. I received more calls from Cabanas law wanting to talk things out, after dismissing them over any other time in my case. Now that you’re reading this post you know why you were dismissed..respectfully

Great Law firm! Maria was the one that made me take the decision to work with them. My case was very specific and she did the extra mile, spoke with the owner and explained to him my needs and when I spoke with the lawyer he knew exactly what I needed. I fully recommend this law firm.

Mi experiencia con Cabanas Law Firm fue la peor que te tenido en mi vida, fui por un divorcio y sali fue con mas problemas, llevaba mas de 6 meses y nunca tuve cita con la corte, hasta la fecha de 6 meses pague casi 15.000 dólares y no me solucionaron nada, solo pedían dinero cada 8 días que la mantuviera en 2'000 dólares y para gastarla solo en mociones antes me ofrecieron Eliel Chong y Yesica Bilyk una compañía de financiamiento para que usted se endeude y ellos siga ganando dinero fácilmente, la actitud de Yesica Bilyk es muy mala. Tuve una primera cita que costo 350 dolares con Sergio Cabanas para saber el proceso de mi divorcio y ya después de ese día no volví a verlo, me dieron 2 abogados para mi caso y ninguno me resolvió nada por que cada uno tenia diferente opinión, a parte de eso el abogado Brian Prieto, cuando por fin tuve corte después de 6 meses se enfermo y no pudo ir la reprogramaron nuevamente la citación. Y tienen el descaro de decirme el bufete de abandonar mí caso por que no les pagaba mas dinero, ni le mantenía la cuenta en 2'000 dólares. Les recomiendo que consigan mejor abogados individuales y no bufete así no pierden su dinero como lo perdí yo.

2021 Overdue review…Do not waste your money here. They ripped my son off for $5000 when he was trying to get custody of his son in 2021. They pretend to care however they do not. They did very little work , only filed one motion for a hearing and we provided all the documents they needed for that. The day before we were suppose to go to court they requested an additional $1500 and since we didn’t have it they contacted the judge and said my son withdrew his case. We were devastated especially since they knew the horrible hell my son went through just to get this far. They are soulless. Nevertheless God is still good and HE worked it out in our favor WITHOUT this firm’s assistance. We got a hearing on our own with the judge, didn’t have to pay anymore money , and was granted full custody. Praise Jesus. Afterwards another attorney told us what this firm charged was ridiculous and what they actually did should have been less than $250. If zero was an option I would give them that. Do your research first!!!

My experience with Cabanas Law Firm, particularly with Roxy, has been exceptionally high-end and reassuring. From the initial strategy session, their services have provided me with a sense of comfort, enabling me to sleep at night and work peacefully during the day. Despite not having commenced the actual work, I find them to be worth every dollar.
