VERY DISHONEST PEOPLE. You lose your money and also your time. After receiving your first payment, they are no longer interested in your case. And after 5 months of giving you a thousand excuses, they only return a part of your money and treat you in the worst way. Very negligent company. "I made a big mistake, I never checked the reviews first.."

Cuando usted necesite ayuda para negociar alguna cuenta de tarjeta de credito, No llame a esta firma de abogados la persona que ellos tienen asignada para hacer este trabajo no es buena haciendolo. Despues de haberles pagado $1500.00 dolares la primera llamada que recibimos de ella, nos dijo que no se podia hacer nada. Mi esposo le reclamo entonces porque me cobraron ese dinero? si no me podian ayudar. Me dijo voy a ver lo que hago y por un par de correspondencias hechas via correo electronico me cobro $250.00 mas. Hasido el peor sevicio que hemos recibido. Y todavia me estan mandando una factura despues que yo les pague $1750.00 dolares. La representante de credito de esta firma de abogados se llama Florencia. No llame si tiene este problema pues el remedio te puede costar peor que la enfermedad.

I responded to your response at the end of this review. Read if you like. I'm not interested in anything further you might have to say. I have noticed that many reviews have exactly 11 or 12 likes in one time frame about a year ago. HMMM... This was my first and hopefully last experience with an attorney. I was charged $1296 (for which I feel I should be AT LEAST partially reimbursed) for an issue in which the attorney I was assigned advised me I had proper documentation and led me to feel confident that it could be resolved in my favor via phone calls with the opposing attorney. According to my attorney, the other attorney did not return calls to the Cabanas firm. Quite clever. My attorney used this as an excuse to explain why he could not go further. I am not an attorney but surely there are steps he could have taken to elicit a response. I tried several times to speak with Attorney Cabanas as my issue was time sensitive and I did not feel my attorney was putting forth the time or effort to properly resolve my case. However, he was not accessible as I was consistently denied the opportunity to speak with him by his legal secretary, who was lovely when asking for my credit card information and not so lovely thereafter. My case was not resolved and had negative consequences for me from which I am still financially and emotionally affected. Subsequently, Attorney Cabanas reached out to me via e-mail to inquire as to my circumstances and in my opinion, to see if I wished to continue (and spend more money) with my case. I did respond and express my concerns and never heard from him again. And...that says it all. In response to the owner: While I appreciate your response, I find it quite surprising that I received a "response from the owner" whom I never once had the opportunity to speak with during the time my case was in progress. Until this moment, I was unaware you were involved and will have to take your word for it. I was never advised that my case was "complicated" as I had a document supporting my allegation which I believed was sufficient. The opposing attorney never offered any settlement that I am aware of or a compromise most likely would have (gladly) been reached to the satisfaction of both parties. Your analogy about the doctor is, in my opinion, absurd and irrelevant. For the record, I have an amazing doctor, am in excellent health and have never been in need of surgery thank you very much. If I am ever in need, I have great insurance through my employment. I wish you the same. I did acknowledge your inquiry. However, let's be clear this was received after my case was closed. You state that "You know we did the best we could." Don't tell me "what I know." My opinion remains the same. You do not have to agree with me just as I disagree with you. I did not feel valued as a client and felt it was important to finally express my opinion, which is my right. Nowhere did I blame you for my predicament. Rather I looked to you for help. Furthermore, I did not write a "bad review." Rather I wrote an honest review. I perceive your reply as condescending and uncaring and that is disappointing to receive from an individual in a professional service career. Please move on and do not allow my opinion to fester in your life.

All the attorneys of are about your money - Nothing else. Cabanas Law Firm is evil. They will make deals with other attorneys so they can get paid. I lost my case, they took my money, no result, They miss court dates, provide wrong information about your case - and many more excuses and misrepresentation of my case. Please don't step foot at Cabanas Law Firm for anything - Especially for the Laws.
