I retained this office for a joint Chapter 13 filing. Attorney Richard Ellis was the attorney I saw initially. He was so professional! He explained the process in layman's terms. His son, Attorney Bryan Ellis took over from there. We enjoyed working with him and he was very professional and attended to the actual filing. We were very grateful for their friendly and professional service. I believe this firm is the best in the in Sarasota County! Would recommend their services to anyone who appreciates knowledgeable, good quality service. They are on top of everything.

Took my money to represent me in a foreclosure case, filed one petition to extend the date before my court date, did not send me new loan options from my mortgage company, so I lost chances to refinance at a lower rate, and then when I worked things out on my own with the mortgage company I was refused a partial refund. Later when I tried to set up a time to discuss this with him he ignored my phone calls, emails, and letters for over nine months, until I finally reached out to the Florida Bar Association. He told me and the FL bar that he would give me a partial refund. After the FL bar closed the case he refused to honor his commitment and did NOT give me the refund.

My wife and i had a long road to get our BK done because of our previous failed Business. The courts gave us a hard time, but Mr Ellis and his Legal Assistant Carey fought for us. We didn't have to pay the courts any EXTRA. It may take some time, but the outcome will be in your favor the right way. Very professional and by the book.

Richard Ellis handled my long and difficult divorce. I had a lawyer who seemed confused by my case. I switched and Richard's expertise and experience gave me confidence and eased my anxiety.
