My family has been with Hurley Elder Law since 2010 when they prepared documents to help my parents through any changes ageing might bring. Because of Miles Hurley and his caring staff of experts, my mom receives nursing care at a first-rate facility, and my dad was able to live a life of dignity and personal fulfillment rather than being impoverished by the cost of her care. And in 2021 when my dad needed hospitalization and hospice, Hurley guided us through that, too. Simply put, Hurley Elder Law saved us.

We have had a great experience with Hurley Elder Care Law both in creating our estate plan via a Trust as well as information provided during several free classes I have attended. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and responsive.

I highly recommend Hurley Elder Care Law to anyone who is planning their retirement or who is suddenly thrown into determining what we can do when our loved one is having to be admitted to a long-term facility (assisted living, memory care or nursing home). As a caregiver, I was exhausted from the 24-hour-a-day caring for my husband who has dementia and other medical problems. I was to the point of total exhaustion. You try to keep them home for as long as you can, but when the time came that I could no longer care for my husband at home, I had to have a place where he could get the care he needed. Hurley Elder Care Law helped me through the process of the financial side of being able to have a place for my husband’s care. They have also helped me with my personal finances which I would not have been able to do. I especially thank Miles Hurley and Paul for the work they have done to help me through this difficult time. All I can say is Wow ! I have never seen a team attack and solve a problem like Hurley. We lost our father and two weeks later our mother suffered a severe stroke. We have now utilized Hurley Elder Care Law twice. First, in 2019, we were able to get all paperwork updated for our elderly parents. This included wills, POAs, etc. Having all this in place when our mother passed away in July 2020 allowed us to handle most things quickly and efficiently even while continuing to grieve. Having a POA in place for the parent who did not pass away was KEY. Imagine an 80-something year old person with no computer experience at all trying to navigate all the online processes necessary when someone does pass away. Then, earlier in 2020, my husband and I got all our affairs in order too (wills, POAs, etc). Though we are younger, anything can happen on any given day. Making certain everything is in order for when the time comes provides us (and our daughter who is an only child) peace of mind. Mr. Hurley and his entire staff are so easy to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, and super fast on responses to emails/phone calls. Even when our Mom was being transferred to a nursing facility quickly, they were there helping us navigate that entire process too (which was also leading into a holiday weekend).
