My son had 2 felony charges aggravated assault and criminal attempt robbery. He was out on bond and missed 2 court dates. I fired a layer who got a plea of 20 years do 12. The initial plea Jay Abt got my son was 20 years do 7. That's 5 years better than the previous lawyer. This case has been going on for a year. Today was my son's pre-trial hearing. My Abt was phenomenal! He went to talk to my son, the prosecutor and then me. Mr. Abt ended with a plea of 15 years do 5 years. Our relationship was hard on me through it all. Mr. Abt was direct and to the point. Saying things that I did not want to hear. Not stringing me along. I love Mr. Abt for doing what he knows how to do best, he knows the law. HE HAS 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. Very knowledgeable about the law. He's your man. Where is the ZERO star?! My family is hurting behind the error this law firm made by filing the wrong paperwork with the wrong court! They were supposed to file a direct appeal for my relative but filed a Habeas Corpus petition instead. This law firm wanted THOUSANDS of DOLLARS more to correct their mistake and blamed the Judge when the petition got denied b/c it was filed with the wrong court. If you are considering hiring this firm to represent you or a loved one, I’m here to tell you, “DON’T” unless you have money to just throw away!! This firm is all about the money and clearly don’t know the law! Run!!!!!

THE BEST LAW FIRM IN GA!! Jay, Allison, and Courtney were all apart of the legal team that helped me get a FELONY DISMISSED! No jail time, no probation, and a clean and clear record. I was facing multiple felony charges and the case happened 2021. I thought the courts forgot about the case until I get a call 2023, stating they have great news for me. Communication was great from the team. They were consistently providing me updates throughout these past couple of years and they truly saved my life and my career.
