Amy Carter is an awesome person and attorney. She can handle the most difficult unique divorce cases, as my case was one of those. Amy cares about you as a person and will help you get the desired legal result.

Unfortunately, I had to use Banks Stubbs & McFarland on a couple occasions. Phil represented me both times. I could not ask for better representation. Attorneys are often difficult to get in touch with. Not this firm. Communication was outstanding. Voicemails were returned very promptly. I couldn’t be more happy with my choice of attorney but better yet I’m more pleased with both my outcomes.

I was referred to Phil Pilgrim to represent a family member in juvenile court. When I called I was panicked and unsure of how to handle my situation. Phil guided me through the process every step of the way. He coached me on how to interact with the police, gave excellent advice on pretrial actions that we could take to help our case and counseled me on what to expect throughout the process. When we went to court, the representation could not have been better. What struck me about Phil's defense was that I could tell that he had been listening to me. Rather than going through the motions on a pretty simple, straightforward charge, he represented us as an individual and incorporated every detail he had learned about us in his defense. I have no doubt that I came out better by hiring this guy. Hopefully I will never need a defense lawyer again, but if I do it will 100% be Phil.

Rafe Banks made the process very easy for me. From the start he was very honest and upfront about what to expect and the services that he would provide. Rafe, Phil, and Kelli jumped on our family member probation court case which had short notice. They quickly researched the situation between two county courts, and prepared a response. Rafe kept me in loop with progress reports. Phil Pilgrim coordinated with us at court time and expertly presented the case to the judge and prosecutor resulting in a successful resolution between the two county courts. There are no words that express how amazing it is to work with Amy Carter! I first worked with Amy in 2016 for a very uncomplicated uncontested divorce and parenting plan - she was recommended by some neighborhood friends that had used her in the past. Amy lived up to every recommendation I had been given. Amy is wicked smart and quick witted (and gorgeous)! There were no issues with the divorce but I could tell Amy was someone I would want on my side if I ever was in a situation where I needed someone to advise me or fight for me. Fast forward several years and my new husband and I found ourselves in a situation where that was exactly what we DID need - I knew exactly who to call. From the minute I reached out to Amy - even before we had officially retained her - she was right there to hold our hand and advise us how to proceed. We worked with Amy for almost two years (due to covid delays) and she was amazing! We absolutely came out “on top” in the case and we could not be more thankful for all that Amy did for our family. It was a long process - including guardian ad litem - but Amy made it so manageable. She always had time for me when I would become overwhelmed or frustrated - she was so good at talking me off the ledge or helping me gain perspective. I was so impressed to watch Amy in action - she absolutely lived up to my thought that she was someone I would want on my side! She is absolutely no nonsense and tells it like it is! I would - and have - recommend Amy to anyone whether it is a simple case or super complicated!

Eric and Beth made my divorce case a priority even when I didn’t. It’s easy to get caught up in the drama of the details, but they did a great job keeping me on track and focused on the bigger picture and end result in order to get through it, despite my own constant and severe procrastination. I was referred to Kathryn Clark after being served with custody papers . I was scarred and confused of the laws and rules . She always kept me at ease , was honest and realistic with all of her answers . She also always responded in a timely manner. Her and Beth made me feel like myself and my daughter were always in good hands . The case was resolved and I was incredibly happy with the outcome . I would definitely recommend this law firm . Both myself and my sister have now gone to them for help and we would do it again .

Amy Carter has been my nephew's attorney since 2017. Because of her expertise in Criminal Law, her perseverance and her negotiating skills, she was able to keep my nephew from spending 15 years in prison. Also most recently, she was able to modify his probation so he has some flexibility where he lives and he will be able to spend more time with his family. Thank you Amy Carter for all you have done for my family.

I'm still in shock on how he made such a miracle happen at the very I mean VERY last minute. I'd NEVER seek representation elsewhere!!! This is definitely who your looking for if your freedoms on the line don't chance it...hire JACOB STIDHAM!!

My review is for Phil Pigrim. I had another attorney at first. The experience was terrible after paying the premium option they offered. I just had the feeling that there was a better option, an friend recommended Phil and sent me his number. Phil took a look at my case for free, offered no promises, and then called me on a Saturday. I immediately felt better with him, hired him 2 days later and fired the other attorney. Obviously months passed due to slow court systems, he worked with the prosecutor and finally got a deal worked out for me that I feel was the best option. Let me add that the deal that Phil secured for me was far better than the 1st firm. I recommend Phil for anyone, a difficult court like Forsyth county especially. His fee was fair and I happily paid it. My case a simple one, however even a difficult one can be helped by this man! Thanks again Phil Steve

Mr pilgrim put more time into my case, by going to court every couple months for over 2 years, than I thought he should have for his original price and he never charged me anymore. Once it finally settled all the charges were dismissed which is best possible outcome for me. I would highly recommend to my friends and family for any kind of issue that may come up.
