No one ever plans for or wants to need a criminal defense attorney. But when a bad situation hits your family, you need the best. David West is a very professional, respected attorney. We found his business on the NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) website. He didn't play games, told us my son had a serious charge against him, yet promised to do HIS best to help him out of a tough situation. He made excellent recommendations for pre-court counseling and testing, gave my son the best advice without promising miracles. As it turned out, my son ended up with a year of un-monitored probation (with all charges dropped after successful completion of the probationary period) in Cherokee County, a tough-on-drugs county in Georgia. His ordeal is over and David West helped our family through some dark times. You always want to listen to your attorney's advice and with David West you can be assured that advice will be sound. He knows what he's talking about for real!

In 2014, my husband and I retained Mr. West to represent us in a case. We had many attorneys from whom to choose, and met with several. After meeting with Mr. West, there was no doubt we had made the right decision when we decided to hire him. Mr. West can best be described as a very hard working, but humble gentleman. He has many accolades, but rarely mentions any. What I respect the most is that Mr. West WALKS the TALK. As if that in itself as not admirable, Mr. West has proven through his actions, that he truly cares about each and every one of his clients. Thanks to Mr. West's hard work and knowledge of the law, the outcome of our case was favorable and we received the settlement we desired. A few months ago, to my utter surprise, I learned the courts had dropped the ball and had not properly recorded the case. I immediately contacted Mr. West. I did not think he would remember me, as the case in which he represented us was three years old. To my surprise, not only did Mr. West remember us, but after learning about what happened, he took immediate action, during a time in his life when he should have been focusing on his own wedding! He provided me with his personal cell phone number and personal email address. Mr. West took all the legal steps necessary to secure another signed Order, and our case was finally properly filed in the courts. I cannot thank him enough for his loyalty, hard work, and his ethics.

Does not pay his bills. Ordered something from us and sent an invoice, and he has failed to pay it. Will not return our calls.

I hired Mr. West to handle a murder conviction appeal that was to be a sure win based on the info in the appeal. Mr. West was to present an oral argument for which he was paid for, but chose not to do an oral at all. He let the Justices make a decision by just reading the brief. I hired Mr. West based on his experience and being able to get his point across verbally. That is surely is strong suit in addition to his arrogance which I liked. He really let me and his client down and we are without additional money to hire another attorney. You would think I should get some of my money back since he did not do the complete job that he was paid for.
