I don't honestly think that I could put into words how great Mr. Hicks and his entire staff truly are. I came to Mr. Hicks nervous, anxious, and lost - through the weeks leading up to my court date Mr. Hicks spent several hours with me - I made several appointments with him, called and emailed a lot, even communicated through texts to his personal cell phone- He always answered me, he always made time for me. When my court date finally came - I felt prepared, ready, confident. Mr. Hicks and his staff were a light in an otherwise dark place. The judge ended up granting me custody of my children ... When Mr. Hicks called to tell me the news, I cried. Tears of joy, relief, happiness... and he listened and shared in my joy. Watching the passion and dedication Mr. Hicks showed while in the court room was amazing- Knowing he was there fighting for me and my children- was nothing short of an honor. He was quick to not let the other lawyer bully his way around - he was thorough in his questioning, he was respectful and yet held his ground when pushed back on. There are several family Law lawyers in Valdosta -- But I can promise you - none of them will listen as compassionately as Mr. Hicks, None of them will devote the time Mr. Hicks will...
