As an active duty Army Dad, it seems most men get the raw deal with child custody disputes in court. Tim represented me above expectations to ensure everything I hoped to achieve in my divorce became a reality. Tim provides a very realistic approach and provided expert guidance when it seemed the legal system may work against me. His advice IS the reason a settlement was achieved that worked for my situation. Tim spent a countless amount of time to ensure the settlement occurred quickly, and while there was a brief “cease fire” with my soon-to-be ex-wife. Tim was consistently available (including during international travel) to provide advice typically within hours of being contacted. I would highly recommend Tim’s services to my friends and family, and even more for military members. If you need a no nonsense attorney who will provide you with realistic expectations, and can action them, look no further. I would further highlight, even after the completion of my settled divorce. Once completing a separate matter, Meredith and staff informed my family about their expanse of practice and shared very helpful information with us without trying to upswell. As a parent coordinator in my case and in my opinion, Ms. Ditchen-Oakley didn’t seem to remain a neutral party and overstepped in her role. Instead of focusing on and promoting resolution to existing disagreements between me and my ex, she continually created issues where there had not previously been any. Using scare tactics as leverage, she repeatedly encouraged me to voluntarily give up portions of my parental rights and custody. After nine months and thousands of dollars spent with Ms. Ditchen-Oakley, our situation was significantly worse than it was when we began meeting with her and we ended up in court anyway. I’m grateful that I remained firm during the process with Ms. Ditchen-Oakley as I prevailed in court, losing no custody or parental rights. I do not recommend her as a parent coordinator. Updated to add: In my opinion, this practice employs questionable and unethical billing practices as well.

I recently went back to court to bring my ex up to date on child support, but was hesitant if I was doing the right thing and not knowing what I was getting into. I chose a different attorney and quickly realized I made a mistake - and then hired Meredith. Within the first phone call I knew I made the right choice. Meredith is clear in her communication, confident and knowledgeable, transparent, organized, responds timely, and speaks like a “normal human” who understands my complaints. We’ve worked well together so far piggy backing on each others ideas and are on the same page. She gives advice when asked and has made me very confident in my decision to return to court and our chances of success. If you are looking for a woman who has been in your shoes and you can relate to them - I recommend Meredith to represent you. I am so grateful I found her and now have confidence having an attorney in my pocket moving forward if needed.
