I reached out to Cari for legal assistance after my ex-husband served me with expanded demands for an out-of-state visitation agreement for our teenage daughter. At the time, I had full physical/legal custody and my daughter was against the proposed travel schedule.

Natanyah was fantastic with my case. I hired her 15 months ago before my case even really began. She makes herself available for nearly any line of questioning at all hours of the day. She is incredibly knowledgeable, determined, and caring and it shows in her work. She took on my case passionately, diligently and aggressively worked every possible avenue she could. There was never a doubt in my mind she was doing everything within her power to give me the best possible outcome, shes a lawyer who truly cares and took on my case fighting tooth and nail as if she were in my shoes. I truly couldn't recommend her as legal counsel strong enough. She's compassionate and caring and even after 15 months has been tirelessly working to afford me the best possible outcome.
Each step of the way came with a phone call explaining what our next options were, her recommendations and handing me the reigns to choose how I'd like to proceed forward. It was comforting to have her in my corner as she helped me navigate a very difficult time for me. She worked with me on an affordable payment plan, willing to negotiate a plan.
Without getting into too many details, I fully believe my experience these last 15 months was in large part because of her. The Navy has never been kind to those in my shoes, giving way to a lot of abuse as the legal process works its way. From the start my process was largely quiet, I was afforded opportunities to take care of myself. Work a largely usual schedule and pursue avenues to seek help and live largely normal. Which is unheard of for servicemembers in my shoes. In some way or another servicemembers are harassed or given demeaning tasks. Anecdotal evidence at best, but I fully believe because I hired Natanyah so early on, and she made her presence known and my command and the Navy aware of her as my legal counsel. I was left largely alone, which was tremendous help during such a tumultuous time.
Given the opportunity, I would recommend any servicemember with even a hint of any legal trouble or even questions to seek Natanyah for counsel or to hire.

Dave took care of my expungement today. I contacted him 3 years ago when the situation took place. He told me everything I needed to do in order to make sure my expungement was successful. This was 3 years before I hired him! He wasn't even my attorney yet but took the time to make sure I was taken care of. He was always responsive, answer every question I had in detail. He was always on time and just very pleasant to talk to. If you need an attorney for anything Dave is the one for you to call you will not be disappointed. I retained Mike and Rebecca to represent me in what even the presiding judge admitted was one of the most complex cases he'd ever seen. Basically, my ex spouse manufactured allegations against me which she used to remove our minor children from the Commonwealth to return to her home state without my knowledge or consent. I had to fight tooth and nail to try and clear my name and get my kids back. Well, Mike and Rebecca did just that. They met every legal challenge professionally and with decisions that were in the best interest of the children. The result is that ALL of the children have been returned home to Virginia with me having primary custody AND I retained ALL of my assets. After years of not getting anywhere with another lawyer. I spoke with McKenzie, and he assured we would get past points of friction regarding my divorce. McKenzie called me and asked me what I was trying to do or what I needed to settle. He was very thorough and precise in his questions towards, and he seemed genuine and empathetic told him we had been separated for 3 years and I did not want anything except to be divorced. After much push back from the opposing counsel, McKenzie fought for me and ensured I didn’t give anything else up. When the MSA was received it was exactly what I needed and wanted to move forward with the divorce. In just a matter of time, I had my final MSA and my divorce was finalized. I spent money on an attorney prior and she never fought for me or asked what I needed. Every time I asked, she told me that we would talk after, and we never did. McKenzie on the other hand was extremely transparent and notified me right away about the negotiation process with opposing counsel. He showed me what a lawyer should do for a client, and I will definitely be recommending him to people in need of a lawyer.

Ms. Williams helped me with my first-time nursing application. From day one Mr. Hill and his staff made me feel that I was not just a number, but a person they could help. The professionalism that he and his staff showed was beyond excellent. They made it a point to keep me updated so I always knew what the status was at all times. It did take several years to finish my case, but it was not the fault of Mr. Hill or of his staff. I would get copies of emails sent to VA saying that their response is past the required reply date, which showed me he was always on top of everything. Mr. Hill even went so far as to call me (email not available) when I was in CA to make sure I was informed of the status of my case. Because of him and his staffs professionalism, and their attitudes I have recommended them to numerous veterans that I have met who thought they were at a dead-end and were not getting any real knowledgeable help. I had used Mr Tedeschi for my personal Bankruptcy, and referred him to my friend Mr MacDonald who had tickets from Arizona from 1980 !!!! They wanted well over $2000 for a parking ticket!
