Daniel Keyes might be one of the finest attorneys I’ve ever had to work with. I mean, the bar was set pretty low but Daniel was able to rise above the typical dishonesty and neglect so rampant in the industry. Now to the juicy details... I own a company and really take pride in our branding and marketing, while doing market research I discovered that a local competitor had copied exactly our entire website. You can probably only imagine the horror that came upon me when I stumbled on this heinous crime. With in hours Daniel (some call him Dan, but not his wife or mother) had a cease and desist letter written and sent off. The calm and ease that came over me knowing that I was in such good hands can not be described. I felt like I was really part of the family at James Vernon and Weeks P.A. Because Daniel saved me from hours or days of anxiety and worry I was able to concentrate on more important things, like myself. I went on to lose 30 lbs that summer and I haven’t looked back since. I couldn’t recommend Daniel Keyes and the whole James Vernon and Weeks family enough.

Melanie elongated my custody trial over four years while judy relentlessly atacked my retainer. In the end melanie sided with the opposite party and agreed to send my daughter with a fellon into another state during a pandemic. Avoid this law firm at all cost. Yes, especially when you attorney is on the opposite side as you.

Requested a consultation. Was told I would receive a call back within a day or two. Waited 3 days. Called the office. Lady said they lost my number. Was told to wait for a call back. Waited 6 days. Called today and was told lawyer assigned declined the case. I just wanted a consultation and NOBODY bothered to call back. Very unprofessional service.

Melanie's, and her staff's, steadfast and consistent diligence to the details brought my situation to a successful conclusion. Melanie and her staff's constant and expedient communication with me and her demeanor in court kept me from unraveling as the case proceeded. Hopefully I will not need Melanie's services again, but will not hesitate to use her in the future or to recommend her to others, if the need arises.

Daniel did not offer protection that was needed and he was not aggressive in his approach in acting as my lawyer with a labor dispute. I was not pleased and although I did not request that he write a letter to my employer, he did so, charged me for his time, and his letter was completely unacceptable. 5 lawyers reviewed it from out of state that I am close to and they all felt it was completely below satisfactory. I told Daniel that I wanted a discount and that he had billed me for items I did not request. He declined to offer any reduction in his rate. I was completely unsatisfied with his work.

I highly recommend them, not just for divorce services but other services as well.
