This place needs to be shut down. Basically an attorney is killing two birds with one stone and making plenty of money to boot. He collects and then threatens. I am not sure this is legal as it seems a conflict of interests to both collect money and be in a position to do so, and then use the power of law to threaten all in one place. Seems like a loop hole for mafia behavior.

Fired because of these people!! I was just 12 days late and called them to make a payment. I paid every month for almost 3 years. They sent a 25% garnishment to my employer. That was going to be 10x what I was paying them a month $500.00 a month!!! They said your employer can not fire you, THATS A LIE! MOST EMPLOYERS CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT IN THIS STATE! I CALLED THEM 3 X AND BEGGED THEM TO STOP THE ORDER AND OFFERED THEM 3X THE MONEY A MONTH I WAS PAYING! THEY LIED AND TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T AND THAT IS A FILTHY LIE! I lost a job with Verizon that I had almost 3 years and that I was making good money at for this area. And people it was not that I was ever mean or nasty with these people, I never was an ass _ole to them. I always treated the ladies there with the utmost respect and that is what just blows me away! Watch these guys, they are liars and cheats, they will destroy your life and not even blink an eye. They do this folks when they want to make fast money, can you imagine if they did that to 500-1000 people and had them all pay 900% more than they were already paying a month! Do the math you guys for it is huge. I know folks because I worked collections for 20 something years and I never treated anybody like this. I never went and ruined somebody's life because they were a few days late paying! I will leave you with this, I am extremely sick and require certain medications that cost a lot of money, these people almost caused me to die! AND THEY DON'T CARE, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THEIR MONEY!

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised to work with such a professional and reasonable company. My account representative went above and beyond to help me settle my account. I was honest and open with them and they were fair with me. I owed the debt and it felt great to get rid of the burden. You can approach this company with confidence that they will treat you fairly if you are honest and fair with them.

He did exactly what I needed for my case. The other party didn't get what he wanted, I still get to have my daughter. I would appreciate it if Mr. Tilley would contact me. I understand he's a busy man, but he gave my his personal cell number to give him updates on the case.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are calling to collect on medical debts; some of us have many medical debts due to long term medical issues AND they just harass you. Ask the same questions and continue to tell you that the arrangements you are trying to make are not sufficient. I am a mom, I pay bills, and I am currently working on paying multiple medical debts; I don't have time for people to harass me on a daily basis. #badforbusiness #whoisinchargeatthisplace

Unfortunately I have to give them one star, but if I were able to, I'd give them ZERO stars!! Absolutely HORRIBLE service!! The "women" who work there are HORRIBLE! Tried to pay off my debt (I KNOW it can be lowered when paying it off) well according to these idiots they cannot do that. They will not work with you to make any kind of payment unless it's full. They like to collect everything they can and more which is why they're still opened. I asked these idiots if they expect me to get on welfare and get food stamps so I can live off of what I'd be left with after being garnished with the amount they took from my checks. I guess by me asking that insulted the idiot I spoke with because she started YELLING at me. (She must be on welfare herself-that's why she started yelling. So you're welcome you hag! I'm glad you can live off of your income and mine-because I BET you get assistance) DO NOT try working with these idiots, get a lawyer or work with credit repair folks. THESE IDIOTS SUCK!!!!! SUCK, SUCK, SUCK!!!!!!!!!!

As a business owner I don't have the time to deal with bad checks from customers so I used CBI for this purpose. Recently I received an invoice from them stating I owed them money which should never be the case since they are supposed to be collecting money for our business. When they investigated the invoice they informed me that a customer who had written a bad check to our business also wrote a bad check to them. When I asked the them why in the world would you accept a check for someone who owes money for a bounced check they responded with, "this is our fault" and we will write off the debt. After receiving several more invoices from CBI I called them again and was informed that even though this was a mistake on their part they are not going to write it off. Thank goodness the amount was not a large amount of money but I refuse to give my business to a company that will not do the right thing.....it's a matter of principle, not dollars. Thanks to the other review for suggesting Bonneville Collections, I will be reaching out to them to see if they would be able to help us with our business needs.

I am a single mother of two, trying to be as much of a responsible adult as I possible can juggling with other multiple medical bills & trying to pay them off! I am not a billionaire, I am just a civil human being trying to make ends meet. I would rather work back in a food industry then to be apart of a Collection Company who doesn't promptly do there job. What I mean by that, is making multiple attempts to get a hold of a person who still owes a medical bill, and making some sort of automatic payment options. These people don't try to make an effortless attempt to help you out with your situation. They just send it to the district of court so they can get more money out of your dry pockets into there fat little piggie banks! That is how the system works, & it's disgusting. People have medical bills all over, and people forget! I'm a human being, so next time someone has a medical bill that goes through your collections company, please be a human being any try to make it easy for others with affordable payment options, and make an effort to get a hold of them before you send them to court!

This company has been a nightmare to deal with. I had a medical bill from a surgery a few years back. I will admit my fault in pushing out paying the bill for quite some time however, the bill that was sent to collections was not the correct amount. I worked out the bill with the medical facility and a corrected bill was sent to CBI. I paid my portion of the bill immediately after the correction was made however, I calculated a different interest amount than what they were saying I owed. I asked multiple times for a breakdown of the interest charge itself so that I could see why I was being charged that amount. I was told multiple times that they would send this out however I never received it. I received another call from them today that prompted this message. I recently moved (4/10/2017) and was told that was likely the reason I didn't receive the most recent letter they sent. The funny thing is, they sent the letter on 3/27/2017. I also have had all my mail forwarded and have had no problems with any other mail. I was then told well the letter says "do not forward" so you may not have received it because of that however, I was also told in the same conversation that they did not receive the letter back so where did it go? I think they simply did not send it because they don't want me to see that the interest they are trying to charge me is not correct. I have explained to them that I am happy to pay what is owed as I did with the actual remaining amount itself however, I am not going to pay an amount I do not believe is correct without having something to verify the amount. I have requested before to speak to a supervisor. Left a message and never received a call back however I was told today that their notes show they transferred me to a supervisor and I hung up!?!? Why would I ask for a supervisor only to hang up the call? Why would I continue to answer their numerous calls and actually call them back when I miss their call if I was trying to not pay? Maybe management will see this and I can actually get this resolved but I'm not counting on it with these people.

Well I have mixed feelings about this place. I made faithful payments to them for 18 months for my husbands accounts. I was so excited to pay them off today!! Since I knew I have an account in collections with them I chose to tell the "kind" woman that helped me pay off the remainder of my husbands collections that I would like to make a payment arrangement for myself in the same manner. At the point she got rude and demanded I make a payment today. I said that was not going to work. I would need to begin the first part of next month. That simply was not acceptable. She also went on to tell me that it did not matter what was able to pay, but simply what THEY WERE GOING TO ACCEPT AS PAYMENT. Are you kidding me? We never missed a payment on my husbands account and worked diligently to get it payed off, and now you are going to treat me like this? I'm shocked. She made a point to repeat that I have had plenty of time to get in touch with them in order to get this taken care of, so it was not their problem that I could not make a payment today. I should have taken care of it sooner. Wow. And you want to know how much this was over? $347.56. Really? Never had I dealt with a rude person in this office, until today. I was happy to begin giving them my money. Now I dread having to call them ever again.
