On the same phone call, Aaron spoke to me, asked about my situation, collected the details and allowed me to share all the details I thought he would need to know. When my landlord refused to return my security deposit after claiming he had to paint the walls and refinish the floors at the end of my 5-year residency, I turned to Aaron. I actually haven't had to use Aaron's services, because he was straightforward enough to tell me I didn't need them for my current situation. Even though I'm sure he was busy with clients, he did get back to me sooner than he'd planned on when I told him I was meeting with my landlord soon after we spoke. As a person who has known and dealt with this extremely competent attorney for 42 years please note that the two disgruntled reviewers are landlords and husband and wife who were found to have violated the Chicago RLTO law. The tenants, who are Clients of Aaron sued these landlords who were  FOUND liable for violating numerous security deposit provisions of the Chicago Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance, Case No. 18 M1 132856. Judgement entered yesterday Monday 10-28-19 in the amount of $11,916.75 against Sam Kain and his wife Inessa by Judge H. Yvonne Coleman in the Circuit Court of Cook County First District, Illinois. When I first started the process with finding a lawyer in regards to retrieving my security deposit I didn't know where to begin.
