I came to Edwin Feld and Associates in the spring of 2019 with a summons from a credit card company that I owed. As an underemployed graduate student, I had been avoiding paying my credit card bills since my fulltime work had become parttime and I could no longer afford to put myself through school and pay my bills at the same time. I came to the office scared and anxious. The staff, beginning with Tammy, welcomed me kindly. Ed was extremely patient and reassuring as he heard me out in my initial appointment. He looked at all aspects of my case and made a clear determination for me to file Chapter Seven. I was worried, but his confidence conveyed his experience and expertise. In my follow-up appointments with David, I felt all the more at ease with the skill and experience the team provided to my case. On my day downtown to certify that I was unable to pay my debts, David was both methodical in the legal process and compassionate. Follow-up payments were reasonable and manageable, and now my bankruptcy is a thing of the past. I made some big financial mistakes. This firm put me back on the right track--both saving me from untold misery and allowing me to get back on track and make a new present and future for myself.
