I’ve been with Turnbull for 10 months and they charge me more for settlement fees than settling my debt I had to remove the rest of my accounts and settle them on my own we have put over 8000 dollars in that account that is plenty to settle all of the accounts that are left and now they won’t even lower my monthly because how much the settlement fees are. It’s ridiculous that now we are stuck in this program because of this

It has been an absolutely horrible experience so far. I definitely felt like I have fell into the trap of a stress free debt settlement program, however, it has been FAR from that. I have yet to receive any clear direction of what my lawyers will be doing on two simultaneous letters from the court that my creditors will be suing. I had called the client service team and they told me they are “escalating it and will take 3-5 days” well it’s been over a month and have yet to receive a response from my lawyer Chantale Hardy on my litigation letter. The only response I receive was that she’ll be away on vacation and will return my call when she gets back, but it’s been over a week since she’s back. For something as stressful as debt negotiation, time is of the essence and a sense of urgency is needed. This is something where Turnbull has lacked. I wish I never enrolled in the program and I am now stuck waiting to hear back with threats of my wages being garnished. DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS PROGAM! Please see a bankruptcy lawyer and someone who will take your case with a sense of empathy and urgency.
