We were in the process of trying to purchase a house without a lawyer or a realtor and then the bank we were going through said we needed to hire a lawyer it was on a Saturday that we found Michael we had a consultation with him that Saturday he said he would take her case we gave him all the papers we had he said it would probably take about three weeks and it was 3 weeks we had our signing for the house we are definitely going to use Michael again and refer him to family and friends he is a great lawyer.

Michael Gilmartin was easy to talk with and made me feel very comfortable with him. When we went to court he fought for me and got 2 felony drug charges and 1 misdemeanor dropped. I would definitely hire him again if I needed to.

I was ticketed for failure to leave information after an auto collision with an unoccupied vehicle. Although my driving record is good, I did have a prior conviction for the same charge, years earlier. Even though I received court supervision in that instance, I was concerned that this repeat offense would elicit much less empathy from the judge and prosecutor. During our in-person consultation, prior to the court date, I was very impressed at how personable and professional Mr. Gilmartin was. When I left the meeting, I almost skipped to my car. The actual court appearance came off as anti-climactic. He spoke to the prosecutor for no more than two minutes and returned with an offer. I had to show up at a later date with some, any, evidence that I had made an effort to repair the damage I had caused. In this case, it was simply a letter from my insurance company that a claim had been filed. Piece of cake. We were out of the court room hardly as soon as I'd sat down. When I returned a few weeks later with the form, I didn't even expect Mr. Gilmartin to be there. It didn't seem like his presence was required but there he was. He told me he would always be there for me. He said he was MY lawyer. It meant a lot to hear that. We were called up before the judge, very shortly after proceedings began, and were up there for, no joke, five seconds. This is exactly what the judge said: "Your lawyer did a great job. Case dismissed." And that was all he said. I did manage to wait until I got to my car before I did a 30 second fist pump but that was it! Case dismissed! I almost never get into trouble but things happen sometimes. I have his number memorized anyway. Michael Gilmartin is MY lawyer!

Michael helped my husband and I update our will. This wasn't a straightforward process because we had made our original will with another firm and had to fill out legal documents to make the transfer. After the transfer was complete, Michael was able to update our will and even came to our house to sign all the documents. Michael is friendly, helpful, and personable.
