I am truly grateful for Attorney Townsend and his team. I had been stuck in a bad situation with a controlling spouse and didn’t see a way out. The entire office was kind and helpful in getting me out of that environment and I would highly recommend Pro Legal Care LLC. Attorney Townsend went out of his way to make my divorce happen as painlessly and efficiently as possible. Communication was frequent and the entire process was explained to me in a way I could understand. I had never gone through a divorce before and had no idea where to start or what it had entailed. Hiring Attorney Townsend was worth it, and I’m happy to have my life back to myself!

My one star review is only for Zack Townsend, not the rest of the firm. My friend paid him several thousand, n he did absolutely nothing progressive!!!! Money isn't free, so do your research before you fill this guys pockets!

If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. Townsend took advantage of a severely battered domestic violence victim’s vulnerability and ran with it. I gave him a $5,000 retainer that he drained in no time and I received little to no promised results that I could have done myself for free outside of filing fees for opening a family case myself. Interestingly, he didn’t even represent me in the family case. He only represented me in an order of protection case which resulted a temporary modification of an emergency order of protection in regards to my child. He lied to me about his intent to zealously advocate for me as a single mother whose mouth was wired shut from my jaw broken by my abuser. He continued to allow my abuser to have multiple continuances until I ran out of funds. It appears to be that he and my abuser’s attorney are well aquatinted considering the outcome of each and every court hearing. He even made it a point to humiliate me during my last hearing as his client in front of my abuser and his counsel. Prior to firing Townsend, Unusually, after hiring Townsend, he insisted to assert his appearance into the felony aggregated domestic violence criminal case on the account of my daughter as a protected party, however, that was not my initial intent of seeking his representation hired to do so. Therefore, he took it upon himself to take advantage of my vulnerable state and left a lot of unfulfilled promises of great representation during my paid phone call conversation (over $200 just to speak with him over the phone for an hour). He won’t even meet with you in person for a consultation and/or after retaining his services besides after your court hearing IF you even are required to show up in person instead of Zoom. Also, every request that I hired him for in the family matter, he did nothing for me. I had to represent myself pro se after firing him to even get child support ordered (that I had requested for months [and he would not take action] and retroactive back pay which I have documented proof of via email. Please seek other counsel because Zachary Townsend is a crook and is all about the money and could care less about the well being of his clients or the best interests of children involved. During the outrageous price to even get a consultation, he will sucker you in and make you think he will fight tooth and nail for you and then relentlessly drain your retainer fee and continue to allow continuances to rack up fees and before you know it your retainer is gone and you fall victim to the sunken cost fallacy if you decide to keep him as your lawyer. He will then sue you after giving over $6,000 to him after you give him notice that your funds are close to running out and will come up any excuse to keep billing you as the “victim” for services that I could have saved a lot of mine and my empathetic relative’s money. He is the poster child of the blood sucking attorney who will turn on you at the drop of a dime. 0 out of 10. Do not recommend! Please seek counsel elsewhere. If there was the possibility of having a public defender in a allocation of parental responsibility case, you would be better if with that option. However, save your hard earned money and BUYER BEWARE!!!

Attorney Townsend is a brilliant attorney who is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and efficient. He closed a case that had been dragged out for 6 months in as little as a month and a half. Not only is he excellent but so is his team. They ensured I received updated billing statements frequently, that I knew how to read said statements, shared documents in a timely manner, and kept me in the loop. While having to go to court is never an enjoyable thing, the Pro Legal Care LLC staff did a phenomenal job at making it as stress free as possible.
