We contacted Mr. Cotlar's office because our son was facing some potentially serious criminal charges. Mr. Cotlar scheduled a consultation with us right away. Mike Magana is an excellent attorney that would recommend for any case you may have. I was looking at a good chunk of time and Mr. Magana got me probation with 30 days work release in county jail. For almost a year it SEEMED like nothing was getting done, little did I know Mike and his crew were working diligently on my case the whole time. I admit my frustration was hi and sense of trust began to wax cold as I only talked to Mike a few times. Much to my surprise, Mike took care of his business on the law side and in the court room!! I was out waaaay before I expected and let me just say.....I was facing some big time... multiple felonies...habitual...anything that could go against me WAS against me...I do have to first thank the good Lord..but my hat is off to Mr. Magana and so is my jail uniform thanks to him!!!!! Mr. Magana was court appointed for my nephew. When people found out who we had as an attorney they begin to tell me how bad he was, how all he wanted was money and didn’t do anything for their case. Needless to say I was skeptical going in… although a very busy man Mr. Magana was passionate, caring and did what he said he was going to do! He may text you and say 32 min or when he walks by you he may give you a one min sign, his voice mail may be full or he may not return your call as soon as you want, but if Michael says imma get him out you better believe he’s a man of his word! We had the honor of watching Michael work at the court, he ran from one end to the other while on the phone with a client and being stopped by clients asking when are you getting to me. After that long day in court he would then go to his office after 5pm and see upwards to 20 people. Mr. Magana told us guys I’m going to get him out and after only two weeks he did Dec. 22, 2021 a Christmas miracle. My advice is not to listen to others, form your own opinion because ever case is different. But if Michael Magana says he’s going to do it I assure you that he will. How many attorneys will give you their personal cell phone number and let you blow their phone up and text them 24/7 and when you see them greet you with compassion and a smile. If I hadn’t t been a part of my nephews case I would have never gotten to meet a really good man, on behalf of my nephew, my family and myself… Thank you Mr. Magana with all our hearts.

I got a speeding ticket of 31 miles, yes 31 miles over the speed limit (71 in a 40mph) and Paul successfully kept it off my driving record, wow! Some attorneys wanted $500 and several turned my case down but not Mr. Richardson's intake assistant Lacy. She encouraged me to pay them the $90 and promised Paul would take care of me and he sure did. THANK You!!! : )

Brian represented me many years ago in a high conflict custody case. I went through my share of lawyers and was almost always disappointed. I got to a point I didnt know whom to trust. Brian is an exceptional lawyer. He was amazing. Sadly, I didnt win my case, but he worked so hard for me and he was so compassionate and understanding with me as I went through the toughest and lowest time in my life. Fortunatley, it is all behind me now. It's been years and I still think of him fondly. And remember how well he treated me during a time that SO many in the justice system treated me poorly and judged me unfairly. Due to all the stress and sadness I never stopped to take a second and thank him for all he did for me and how hard he tried. 2 weeks ago I got pulled over for a minor infraction just to find out I had a warrant for my arrest in Trumbull County from 6 yrs ago. It was Friday night and everything was closed! I couldn't for the life of me figure out where these charges stemmed from. The next day, after a night gripped with fear, I decided I'd better at least try calling some law offices and maybe God would lead me to the right one and someone would answer or call me back. The 1st message I left was with Ron Yarwood and he ended up being the only attorney to call me back the very next day on Sunday! I couldn't believe it. I didn't retain him that day because I thought these charges were going to be a mistake and I was trying to save money, but he heard me out and didn't cut me off. The next day I called the magistrates office and the Police Depart, and found out I was facing a Felony. I was sick to my stomach, sitting at work suffering in silence and fighting back tears. I asked for a personal day and went home to search for attorney that I could afford because I didn't have that much money and I was still holding out hope this would just get dismissed. It had been almost 6 years and no crime was actually committed, it was just an attempt to commit an offense. I called tons of attorneys, and if your reading this you'll know what I'm talking about when I say they only cared about the money, not about me. Long story short, I found an attorney(not Yarwood) and things went downhill, fast. He wouldn't listen to me or do any research on the facts I was giving him. He was dismissive of me. At this point, I new I was in trouble and I knew it was time to search for another attorney. It's 8am Monday(3 days ago) on my way to work, leaving msgs yet again. Once again only Yarwood called me back! I told him my charges and what has been happening this far and I had a hearing scheduled this Thursday. He said let's meet today so I took off work(again) and drove to his office. Ron came right down to meet me and led me to the conference room. At this point, I was exhausted, not sleeping and not trusting anyone. Atty Yarwood didn't sugarcoat anything for me and got right to the point. He looked at all the facts and right away went in to what his defenses would be.(thats right, i said defenses, plural!) I tried not talk much because I wanted to hear what he had say and I didn't have time to waste. Immediately, he picked up on crucial details that I had been begging my attorney(at the time) to look at to no avail. Even though I had not hired Ron Yarwood yet, he didn't hold back one bit of what his defenses would be. Atty Yarwood said it is important that we become a team, which resonated with me because I never heard an attorney talk like that before and that we need to trust each other... And that he's not a hand holder lol(which I didn't need)...however, I needed someone who will fight. After an hour meeting, which he never looked at his watch 1 time and I never felt rushed, I knew he was the one. My feelings were that he was honest and became an attorney for all the right reasons, so I googled him immediately. Everything he told me was true. Yesterday morning(8/16) I ran him over a check at 730 am. We talked for another hour and I just expected him to take my money and I'd be on my way. Not Ron, he pulled out a white board and went over exactly how this process would go and went over every possibility of how this could play out. I left feeling great and confident he had my back and I really could trust him. Fast forward 24 hours later...I'm sitting in the courtroom at my preliminary hearing, sick..again. Ron pops in just let me know he's there and he'd come back in shortly. 30 to 45 minutes later he grabs my dad and I and tells us to follow him outside where he tells us the charges are going to be dismissed! What!! Ron came in prepared and ready to go all the way for me. I am so grateful to him and I couldn't wait to write this review! Thank you Ron!!! Call Ron Yarwood!!

Words cannot express the gratitude, the heartfelt obligation she provided for me during my fight for justice. She is the best.
I was wrongly accused of a violation of the law that I did not commit.
I was extremely emotional, I dealt with anxiety and panic attacks. She did not judge me, she comforted although I was having emotional breakdowns. I was able to rely on her judgements, her sincerity and her efforts to fight.

Kevin was assigned to my case as a public defender. If I had the money I would still definitely choose him. I had a criminal charge that I was worried would interfere with future schooling/job offers. I was so happy that he got the prosecutor to dismiss the case.
He's very good at his job and honest. Straight to the point about how he wanted to approach the case. I appreciated his honesty and prompt responses if I'd leave messages for him on the phone. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in a bind.

Finding myself in the worst situation I have ever been in, Kevin was there with me through the entire process. It would be almost impossible to describe exactly what he means to me and my family. The first time we met, he was very open and honest about what I was facing and more importantly what he intended to do for me. This never changed throughout the entire process. He is the only man that I would ever trust to represent me or anyone close to me in the courtroom. I won't go into many specifics in this review but I quite literally would not be able to be home writing this right now if it wasn't for Kevin. Even when things got a little sticky in my first time DUI case, Mike knows the right things to bring up and knows how to handle what gets thrown at him. I’m impressed by the confidence, composure and knowledgeability. He knows the right people, which is the biggest name of the game because if you don’t, you don’t have a defense. I’m thoroughly content with how he handled my case and if you are in the south sound area I would strongly advise to at least consult with the guy. At a fair price I doubt there are much better options. My only problem was lack of communication within his own office. I wasn’t able to get ahold of him as much as I would’ve liked to (since he’s busy handling business), and it seemed like one of his representatives didn’t have as much experience but Mike still handled it well.

I worked with Tad on my case for a year! He would text me back weekend or not, super friendly. Explained the whole process of everything in a way I could understand what was really going on. I was accused of a crime I truly did not commit and he believed me. Unfortunately we could not prove a phone call conversion in trial we we settled for a plea. Went from 2 major felonies count 2 and a 3. Down to a misdemeanor 1, probation for 2 years that’s it. Great guy enjoyed working with him but hopefully I never see him again unless it’s a run in at the store.

I called Tad just days before my pre-trial hearing and he was nice enough to accommodate me into his busy schedule. He took my concerns very seriously and was very thorough in investigating all the details of my case. He was available at any time of the day when I had a question or concern. His law office is focused on trial, and not just pleading out. If you desire a plea bargain he will work to achieve the outcome you desire, but dont fear if you want to go to trial. He is dedicated and thorough and will work hard to achieve a positive outcome. My case was dismissed, but Tad a solid game plan, with motions for dismissal, and a trial plan if the case was not dismissed prior to trial. When I first met Mr. Andrews it was pertaining to a moving violation citation I received. Throughout the consultation he explained what he could do to reduce the citation to a lesser expense. Once I hired him, he gave me very clear instructions on steps I needed to take to show the prosecutor that I took the citation seriously. By completing these actions he would be able to reduce the citation to just having to pay the fine and not getting any points on my license. Even though I took longer than I should have to complete these steps, Mr. Andrews continued the case two different times to allow me extra time to get it done. During this time, I moved to a city 250 miles away. Mr. Andrews worked with the prosecutor to see if anything could be done to help prevent me from having to make the long drive to appear in court. I was very pleased when Mr. Andrews contacted me to inform me that the citation had been reduced to a warning. What really impressed me is that even though he had to do some extra work to continue the case because I couldn't complete everything in the timeframe allowed. He stood by his original quote. He is very thorough, communicates clearly, and does what he says he will. I would recommend Mr. Andrews for any kind of traffic case. He will most definitely get the job done to your advantage.

I made some very stupid mistakes with my friends a couple of years ago, and ended up getting a court letter in the mail about a year later stating that I was being charged with 3 misdemeanors. This was my first time ever being involved with the law, as I had never received even a parking ticket prior to this incident. I felt completely overwhelmed and anxious for days, and even had trouble sleeping. I searched around for different lawyers in my area, and immediately felt comfortable with Dyke and his assistant Kym. He was extremely understanding of my situation, yet very straightforward and clear with his approach to tackle the whole ordeal. Dyke is a legend as far as I am concerned. He has gotten me out of big time trouble using his knowledge of the law. While he has a small firm just him and his secretary I have witnessed the magic that he can do in a court room. He is straight to the point when it comes to your case and is passionate about each and everyone of his clients. While he's been my attorney for multiple cases he has never let me down even when the odds where severely stacked against me. This is long overdue. I am a former Marine, got into some stupid trouble (first time in my life). Dyke was a great advocate and adviser. He didn't sugar coat anything but he remained buoyant and positive.
Despite fact that I ended up pleading out and going to prison I know Dyke did everything in his power to help me. All is good now and it's a lesson learned.
