Two thumbs up for Brennan & Rogers - a small law firm that punches way above their weight! My wife and I recently engaged Attorney Smiley Rogers of Brennan & Rogers to update our will and trust estate documents because of recent life events and our moved from MA to ME. Pick your analogy, but estate planning can sometimes feel like a root canal or a trip into ‘The Matrix’. We were very happy with the process, their personal attention, and the quality of their work. Attorney Rogers is experienced, extremely knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to read the room to make sure that both my wife and I understood and agreed on a particular issue before moving on to the next point. Unlike many attorneys, he doesn’t ‘talk over you’ – he stops and really listens when you raise an issue. He is the only estate attorney that I have worked with that could quantify and layout tax savings based on different estate planning scenarios (with the help of a software application). Attorney Rogers is also a very good problem solver offering 2-3 ways to work through some thorny issues. Brennan & Rogers thinks about their clients in a holistic fashion, instead of just a single transaction. They provide elderly law services as their clients age, and an annual ‘check-in/check-up’ program after the estate documents have been completed to ensure that they understand any life changes, and how it might impact the long-term estate planning. They leverage technology and their billing practices and fees are transparent and competitive. A strong recommendation and we look forward to a continued relationship!

We recently went through an extensive estate planning process with Brennan & Rogers and I must say that Smilie and his team delivered the agreed upon product with clarity, efficiency and on time. They took a complex legal process and chunked it into easily understood sections that provided us with the clarity that we had asked for. After losing a loved one, it became apparent to me that I needed to put my estate in order to protect both me and my children! I was so fortunate to find Smilie Brennan! Smilie Rogers did an incredible job of helping us with our rather complicated estate plan, especially considering we were in the middle of the pandemic. We participated in several Zoom meetings to discuss all aspects of our wills and trust, and then met in person (masked) to sign. Smilie was very thorough in explaining all the aspects of our plan, even using support visuals to help out with all the legal jargon! Much appreciated!
