Don't string someone along telling them that your office is drafting a statement of claim, not communicate with them for months. Have the client call then mail a letter closing their case. My health was ignored for 2 years before I found out the reason I was so sick was I had cancer that was undiagnosed. I have advanced stage cancer and being told there is nothing they can do now. Talk about medical negligence followed by a lawyers negligence. I'm spending my time waiting for the cancer to kill me now since I am unable to hold a job.

We decided to do our estate planning. Putting the house in trust and update our will, POA, etc. Smiley made it so easy. Zoom call to discuss all the details on what we would like and a follow up Zoom call to go over all the documents and explaining each one as we reviewed them. Then in person signing, very safe environment even in these crazy times. It was a breeze. We have also used Mary Catherine in the past years to update our parents paperwork as well. Again dealing with the Brennan and Rogers offices is a pleasant experience.

We are very pleased with Smilie Rogers, the office assistant and the final product. He worked around our time table and spent a great deal of time answering our questions.

Well... if you are in York County (or slightly beyond), I urge you to connect with Brennen & Rogers - but do it before you select an estate planning law firm. The team there has been invaluable to my parents and our family in planning out their estate. They developed a reasonable flat-fee service for us, which took away any uncertainty of cost and ancillary charges common to other firms. It included many calls, emails and meetings. The plan included a secure document portal so we could collaborate and gain (24/7) access to key documents. It included periodic review of my parent's plan, which they reconcile against any key changes in state and federal tax and inheritance regulations so they/we know if quick changes to the plan are needed - and all - to make sure my parent's estate remains protected/distributed as they wish. As important as the above... they're great people who care deeply about my parents. They know their business, AND know how to communicate it so simply to others. Lastly, this isn't one of those planned or paid reviews... partner Mary Catherine and the staff have been so helpful and compassionate to our family, I felt compelled to share our experience with others.

Smilie is a very good listener, which allowed him to create trusts and wills that fully met our needs. He is patient in explaining legal matters and has given us all the time that we needed to discuss issues. We never felt rushed and recommended him to a friend who also worked with Smilie and tells me that he was also very pleased.

I am trying to speak with a lawyer at this business as to why they won't help me with my case but they do not want to take the time to speak with me, they are having the receptionist try to explain which is putting her in a very awkward place.
