Stephen and his team were amazing! Not only were they compassionate through the entire process, they worked diligently to obtain the policy limits. I hired Mr. Schwartz to help me with a second offense DUI charge, which was also classified as a 'refusal to submit'. This particular case had added layers of criminal speeding and an accident resulting in a double rollover of my vehicle. It was immediately evident that Mr. Schwartz cares about his clients when I met with him for the first time. He did not judge me but gave me 'tough feedback' that I needed to hear, in order to change some bad behaviors in my life. This resulted in me going to inpatient rehab for 30 days. With Stephen's advise to attend rehab, and after finding several holes in my case, he was able to get my DUI charge dismissed and reduced to criminal speeding. This sincerely exceeded ALL of my expectations. I was facing jail time, the loss of my license for multiple years, becoming classified as a habitual offender with the state of ME, and more. I faced NO jail time, am almost through my license suspension (will not have to install an interlock device in my vehicle) and most importantly, am 7 months sober. I owe so much to Stephen Schwartz and would recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer that does not judge, and that stands in your corner!
