I found Mr. Englander's number on a list of lawyers in the Baltimore, MD area who provide free consults and might take on landlord-tenant cases (we were the tenant side). Mr. Englander responded to our voicemail in a timely manner, was very professional, listened to our story, asked good questions, and provided a very detailed and comprehensive consult, with specific recommendations to follow. Unfortunately ,he was not able to take on our specific case, but the advice he provided was extremely helpful, and he provided a referral to another firm. From this limited experience, I would certainly recommend him.

I was facing jail time for something that I should not have been as well as a hefty fine. I was terrified as I’ve never been in this type of situation before. He called me back on the following Monday and provided a fee free consultation, advised me essentially not to hire him since my case was simple and he felt I did not need him, answered all of my questions and gave me his recommendations as to how I should proceed.
