I had never had to deal with lawyers for nothing in my life. But Peter and Jennifer made it so easy! They have been so professional and pleasant. They kept the lines of communication open and there was no such thing as too many questions. Jennifer literally responded right away and it may this journey so easy. Turner was by far the most professional attorney equipped with the adequate amount of emotional intelligence a girl could ask for. Turner was most helpful with my situation and did not take advantage, an awesome listener , and a pleasure to work with! He took care of me when I was disgruntled by a previous BIG-TIME lawyer who felt like he knew the outcome of my case. Great law firm!! Awesome lawyers!! Turner and Nathan handled my legal issue with a major local fiber optic company and I was amazed at how patient, understanding and genuinely concerned they were re: my legal issue. They were never too busy to take my calls. In addition, each time I went past their office, without an appointment, they didn’t hesitate to make time to see me ( which is very unusual for lawyers). I was very pleased with the success of my claim and owe it to Turner and Nathan’s hard work! Anyone needing legal advice or counsel definitely should reach out to McGowan and Cecil. I reached out to McGowan & Cecil after being involved in a car accident in December of 2018. Peter Hatfield was my assigned attorney, and I could not have asked for better. Peter was on top of his correspondence with me, making sure I knew the process and properly managing my expectations along the way. During my PT, Peter was constantly touching base to check up on my condition, almost to a fault. I could tell Peter genuinely cared about my well being. I'd recommend Peter without reservation if ever in need of a personal injury lawyer. While I hope I'll never need his services again, in the event that I do I'll be able to sleep comfortably knowing Peter is taking care of me. Special shoutout to Nathan as well. "Great experience with McGowan& Cecil,LLC" - Scott Stengel the attorney who handled our claim with our insurance company ,who refused to pay us a "Uninsured Motorist Claim" that we felt we were do. Scott work with them for several months,and settled the claim for a larger dollar amount than the $2500.00 stated in our policy. Thanks !

I reached out to McGowan & Cecil LLC when I was in a car accident and sustained a concussion in August 2018. I interviewed 4 different attornies and he seemed the most honest and straight forward and was not trying to BS me to get my case. They stayed in contact and answered every question, email and phone call. They kept me up to say on my case and worked diligently. Indira (his assistant) was amazing and stayed in touch constantly. The case moved more quickly then what I expected and he listened to what I wanted. Even when the insurance company came with a low offer he discussed with me and came up with a plan I was comfortable with. He settled at a reasonable amount that I agreed on and was comfortable with. I met with Mr. Cecil to pick up my settlement check and was very comfortable. he was patient and explained everything to me, went over all the paperwork and chatted for a bit. If you want an attorney that is honestly, reasonable, fair and will communicate effectively this should be your choice! Update: I was just contacted a month later by his assistant that my escrow will be mailed to me. They are on top of it!
