“Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV). Today I went to the office of Maria Mena to get a second opinion on a serious pending criminal case. Upon entering the office, I was greeted with enthusiasm and warmth. Then I met Maria Mena. My first impression of Maria was that she was very professional and paid great attention to detail while trying to assess the information pertaining to my case. After gathering all the facts, she gave me an overview of my case and shared some possible outcomes. She shared with me many things my current attorney did not. Maria due to her strong moral and ethical character would not consider taking my case without first talking to my current attorney, one whom she has great respect for and knows he’s highly competent. I also know my currently attorney is one of the best trail attorneys in the country. However, if I had to make my decision again I would without a doubt pick Maria. She spoke to me on my level. She quieted my anxiety and gave me peace of mind; these two things are priceless. It’s my prayer that God continues to bless her practice so she may continue to impact the lives of individuals who have lost trust in the justice system. As a honest person with integrity who worked hard through out life to have a good reputation and be reliable, when the police came at my door alleging that I was a criminal, yelling at the corridor to the point that neighbors would come to check what was going on, I was totally caught by surprise. It was outrageous. I was shocked. First, because the police officer alleged that I stole my own medical file from the doctors office. I will refer her as Dr. F. My present physician, Dr. S. had requested Dr. F. for my files three times, Dr. F. fail to send Dr. S. In May 2019, I had signed and sent by Certified Mail, a release form of my files to me and Dr. F. did not send anything. Had she done her job properly this whole situation would not have happened. Finding myself in a situation that I had to seek a lawyer's help to clear my name, I had initially hired Mr. M. who instead of making me comfortable, made me more stressed and clearly he was charging a much higher price for something that could have been taken care easily, alleging and even inventing possible results. I felt the need to seek for another lawyer. My daughter was the one who found Mr. Matthew Bennet. From my first conversation on the phone to the invitation for a free consultation in his office, Mr. Bennet showed to be a very honest and reliable lawyer. The was very knowledgeable and clear about my case. While the other lawyer wanted my case to go to the court for him to be able to charge more. Mr. Bennet said it was not a case for the court, but he would sent all the documents added to the receipt from my previous doctor stating that she was going to revoke the charges and made me feel that I was been taken care of. Mr. Bennet kept me informed of each step and my case did not become a nightmare, but dismissed and my name cleared. I can be me again. I recommend Mr. Bennet to whoever needs a criminal lawyer. He is a rare pearl who still lives with honesty and integrity and really cares about the clients.

Gary and Robert are awesome! First of all, they beat the MVA hearing and then when we went to court they got the charges dropped. Now they’re going to expunge my record. If you’re looking for great lawyers who is he talk to hard-working and get the job done I highly recommend my guys.

Highly recommend. Had a very high DUI, AA county - received no jail time. This firm has really good connections, and will do their best for you. I had Robert, but have known others with Gary, and both are extremely competent. Highly recommend!
