I decided to look for not only a lawyer but a very good lawyer after i was convicted, i was bombarded with hundreds of mails from several lawyers but i choose to search and review profiles myself instead. i came across several lawyers and i choose Gary amongst them all. indeed he was my winning lottery ticket, first day i met him, i was stressed and confused. He quietly listened to my explanation, reviewed all documents and simply told me to go home and everything will be fine. Those were not just words, yes he proved it in court.I observed him throughout the trial, simple, confident, smart, asking all the right questions at the right. Honestly, he was given tough time by both the state prosecutor and judge; however, he cleverly navigated through it so the jurors will see the plain truth. Gary's closing statement was so powerful that the state prosecutor asked the judge to address the jurors all over again. I leaned over to Gary and told him, i am pleased with your performance regardless of the outcome of the trial. Yes, i was not surprise when the NOT GUILTY verdict came from the jurors.

My experience with Matthew was excellent. He got a very good outcome for my case. But what I appreciated as much was the care he took to communicate clearly, thoroughly, and frequently with me about the case. Gary and his staff are hands down the best. After consulting with several other attorneys and being told my case was hopeless, I found Gary's law firm via a Google search and was impressed by the great reviews. Gary's staff worked on my behalf for over a year, and Gary himself personally represented me in court with outstanding results. He was able to get a 4 year old conviction overturned! Other lawyers told me my case was hopeless because the timeframe for filing for an appeal or reconsideration had expired years prior. Gary prevailed where others weren't willing to even try! Amazing lawyer and fun to be around which makes you comfortable around him.i went to court on 2 different occasions with gary and the charges were dropped the 1st time .The second time i went in at 9am called up 1st and he had case dismissed. we left court in 20mins.i will go back to this lawyer again and again and will highly recommend this lawyer to any one with any legal issues.the best i ever met

Gary Gerstenfield is a criminal defense lawyer in Silver Spring Maryland. I chose him over a local lawyer in a Baltimore DUI case I would surely lose. He was recommended by another attorney I thoroughly trusted. Gary Gerstenfield is the most astounding attorney I have ever met. I didn't think that anyone could get me acquitted of a DUI. The best I had hoped for was a PBJ and that was a long shot . .. . .considering I totaled my car with my 11 year old daughter in the back seat. My BAC was 0.23 with complications of other drugs showing positive in the hospital blood test. Gary fought this one with both guns blazing, from 9AM until 4PM in a trial that I had thought was a lost cause. Losing the first 9 rounds did not give me any hope until the 10th round and the Judge pronounced me 'Not guilty'. I can only say that this was due to the hard work, thorough preparation and tenacity of Mr. Gerstenfield. He never gave up and fought this to a win . .. only after a lengthy struggle, an extremely complicated case and against all odds. I hope that this post does a little good for Mr. Gerstenfield as there is little I can do to even come close to repaying him. His fee was moderate but the resulting verdict was anything but moderate. A great lawyer and a good man. Honesty allows me to say that these are traits which separate him from the rest! One only needs to watch his great work in the Courtroom to understand his brilliance. The best defense lawyer I have ever met and one whom I can recommend with a clear conscience and a grateful heart.

Gary did a fantastic job defending my case. As student at College Park, I knew I was in good hands due to his honest and professional character. I was charged with dui / dwi and failure to stop at a stop sign, but Gary worked hard to get me off completely for my first and only offense. I found Gary on google when I needed emergency help for a case. He was very nice and seemed very caring because he worked with me right away. He knew I was very nervous so he kept reminding me to relax and he was very comforting. He was my life saver in this time of need. I kept calling him Sir and he assured me to call him by his name Gary, I guess because he wants to be as personal and as close with his clients.
