I was new to the litigation process. As someone who was wronged by a dealership, it is one thing to have self-conviction but to also have the initial support from Dan and the Whitney firm is something I'm very glad to have had. The process was lengthy but I'm glad we stuck with it and placed our trust in Dan to give us the results we deserved.

I spoke to them about a false theft allegation against me. The entire thing was on tape and damaged my reputation and the person responsible later assaulted a customer. They wouldn’t take my case and were kinda dismissive about it. Cant make a bar complaint but if you think you will get representation here, flip a coin, i think there were woke considerations here why my case wasn't taken. My name is Leonie. I live in Lanham Maryland. I want to use this space to say a very big thanks to Mr Whitney. The entire family also use the opportunity to say thank you. Here is my story. MVA refused to renew my tag stating that my car had fraudulent records. I registered this said car through MVA and I have been driving the car for almost ten years. Within this 10years I have never been stopped by the police for any suspected fraud on the car. I was involved in an accident three years ago and the insurance totaled my car and I bought it back. When the tag expired , I went to renew it and MVA refused to renew my car tag and not quite long after that I got a letter that I can not renew my car tag due to the car having fraudulent history. This is a car I have been using for almost 10years. I was told I could go to court if I like to plead the writ of Mandemus. People of the internet I am not a lawyer and that was the first time I heard that english in my life. My car stayed almost a year in front of my house while I suffered to work. I can not sell it, nor throw it away or even bury it. So I was stuck with it. I was quite depressed that I had a car but was suffering to get my self to work. In the mist of my depression and watching my car decay in front of my eyes I searched the internet one middle of the night and came across this God sent lawyer who picked up my case and wrote and spoke the language MVA understands and today through all his effort I got my car titled and tag replaced. Mr Whitney I thank you and I pray that God will continue to give you wisdom to practice your profession and help people who find themselves in predicaments like mine so they could get the justice they desire. I also want to use this opportunity to thank all your wonderful staff whom I spoke with during the time my car was incarcerated by MVA. They gave me hope and assured me that it will be alright. Though my car does not talk I don't think the punishment it got was what it deserved for no just cause. Thanks everyone for taking time to read this piece.

Contacted Whitney, LLP for a legal question regarding automotive fraud. Spoke to their receptionist and was told I would receive a call back. I had to contact them several times to just state they will review the case when I provide them a $3,000 retainer. Hourly rate is $450 which is egregious for a small private practice that doesn't provide expert litigation. I agree with other reviewers - Worst law firm I had contact with. Don't waste your time and money. Go to small claims court.
