I hired Kate Fitzpatrick for legal consulting on a separation agreement my employer had offered me as well as for guidance on my subsequent filing for unemployment. I'm pleased to say that the outcome was successful. Kate was very professional in our interactions and was always well prepared to discuss my case. I was amazed at her attention to detail surrounding my case. Her attention made me feel certain that I mattered and that I would be properly represented. I also really appreciated how flexible she was about meeting thru Google Hangouts rather than requiring a face to face meeting at her office. Finally, her ability to empathize and advocate for me, made me feel comfortable working with her and sure that she would be a good attorney to have in my corner should my case have needed to go to litigation.

We met shortly after and I found her to be patient, understanding, and gave me information I needed. She kept me informed and guided me through my legal issues, and I was very impressed how diligent she was. I appreciated her honesty and dedication to doing everything possible for me. I would recommend her highly.

I have been a client since 2011 and am very satisfied. In a very difficult and emotional situation, she is a straight shooter who will give you realistic expectations in a very caring way. What she knew was possible, she fought hard for.

I had a consultation regarding Estate Planning with Polly. She was more than informative and knowledgeable on the subject matter. She showed more than professionalism, but she also provided me with advice outside of estate planning. She is one person I hope to be able to do business with. I have met quite a few intelligent business people, but she takes the cake. She shows interest in her clients or potential clients and not just for the end goal. I look forward in doing business when I am financially able to.

I’m astonished at the positive reviews I’ve seen regarding Polly Tatum as our experience could not have been worse. Polly demanded huge fees upfront on two legal matters. One she handled incompetently, like filing the wrong forms forcing us to redo everything. She flat out said it would be a “slam dunk” and a “rubber stamp”. We’re still unresolved almost a year later. The other matter she neglected entirely. Not one draft written, nothing done whatsoever for nearly a year, despite repeated calls to move this along. She refuses to refund the exorbitant fees for that matter and now we don’t even trust her to do the work correctly, if she ever does it, which seems increasingly unlikely. We’re RUNNING not walking away from this horrible, greedy, and incompetent attorney! Update: Rather than contact me personally, Polly resorted to a Google review reply. This is exactly the type of unprofessionalism we’ve learned to expect, however frustrating it is from a “professional” lawyer. She’s far more concerned with her public image than genuinely working on this situation with clients who paid her upfront. She has lied to us so many times that we’ve had to insist that all communications be email, so they can be documented. This resulted in basically never hearing from her again. She talks a GREAT game, like a used car salesman, but there isn’t truth or integrity in a word of it. I’m beyond disappointed by the horrible stress her unprofessionalism has added to what should have been a JOYFUL legal matter.

I am very fortunate to have learned about Kate. She is an extremely experienced lawyer who kept me up to date on what to expect throughout my case. Kate was able to handle my case following wrongful termination and disability discrimination after 20 years of employment. I highly recommend working with Kate. She is an excellent lawyer!

It was a real pleasure in working with such a professional as Kate. Her careful review of my situation, explanation and recommendations of alternatives, along with providing me with insights of actions that could be taken proved to be excellent. Her approach was honest, factual, diligent and great listener. She created a powerful “Demand” letter for wages based on several factors including Good Faith and Fair Dealing that had been withheld due to released timeframe, which resulted in immediate payment from the company. Kate is the one to go to when you have questions and issues; seeking professional advice and guidance with employment contracts agreement.
