Farah Ahmed is a very capable and efficient lawyer. I chose Ms. Ahmed to handle my divorce because her firm was highly recommended by a friend of mine.
During my first consultation she asked a lot of questions about my situation. She mentioned a few problem areas that she would have to look into, but, at the end, she gave me a good overview of how the case would proceed and how it would end up. Her overview ended up being quite accurate.
Ms. Ahmed is very thorough and organized. She stayed on top of the case throughout, making sure that the necessary documents were supplied by both sides. She does not mess around and gets straight to the point. You shouldn’t expect a lot of chit-chat from her. Nevertheless, she is very pleasant and easy to get along with.
She was able to foresee multiple pitfalls and roadblocks and was able to get around them. Ultimately, she got me to a good resolution. I don’t think that I could have hoped for better.

My motion was exceptionally challenging—a monumental undertaking with the odds heavily stacked against me. Mindy is incredible. I'm writing this with my healthy baby sleeping peacefully beside me--an outcome I didn't think possible for much of the past year.
I initially hired Mindy Carr to help write a co-parenting plan. I knew my former partner could be difficult to work with, but I had no idea what was in store. Mindy noticed red flags in my co-parent's behavior from the start and helped me prepare for the high-conflict separation that was coming. She predicted how the process would likely unfold given her prior experience, and she was spot on. It wasn't how I hoped things would go, but I was incredibly grateful to be working with an attorney who had seen similar behavior before and knew how to constructively handle it. So, when my co-parent suddenly changed lawyers and filed a surprise motion for near-exclusive custody of our baby, Mindy was able to quickly assemble an effective response. Her arguments at the hearing convinced the commissioner to adopt a balanced temporary parenting plan instead, and gave me and my co-parent more time to continue discussing a parenting plan via counseling.
It took almost a year before our parenting plan was finalized in arbitration. Mindy let me know what was going on and what to expect the entire time--her transparency really helped reduce my anxiety during such an uncertain period. I was particularly impressed with her knowledge of the family court system and the people in it; she clearly has lots of first-hand experience here and it showed in her approach. She was a tireless and trustworthy advocate who kept my child's interests at heart.
I believe we ended up with a fair parenting plan that puts our child first and provides time and space for each co-parent to build a healthy relationship with them. It's exactly the outcome I'd hoped we could reach collaboratively when I first hired Mindy; the fact that she was able to make this happen despite the machinations of a very high-conflict co-parent speaks to Mindy's resourcefulness, intelligence, and tenacity.

Early in the process of getting divorced, I tried to represent myself, and I ultimately turned to Mindy via a friend's recommendation. Just from a purely financial standpoint, hiring Mindy was among the best decisions I've ever made. The agreement I negotiated for myself was approximately 7x Mindy's total fees less than what I ultimately signed with her help.
Beyond that, though, I've gotten the sense throughout the process that Mindy really and truly wants to help. I felt supported and seen; I know this sounds corny, but it's true.
Mindy's experience and attention to detail helped me avoid a bunch of potentially problematic language in the parenting agreement we ultimately signed, and her advice on strategy and tactics was always well reasoned. She could also consistently explain why she wanted certain provisions added or removed in plain English, translating the legal rule into the likely real world ramifications for me.
Family law being as sensitive as it is, I dearly hope that I never get to work with Mindy again. But if I ever do wind up needing another family lawyer, Mindy will be my first call, and I'll be deeply disappointed if she does not answer.

Laurie was open and honest about what to expect from day one. I fully understood what was expected of me moving through the process of divorce. She fully recognizes that it is so difficult for people to travel this road but never let me get stuck. She provided solid guidance but left the decision-making to me. When I was making decisions that may not be the best for me in the long run she was clear that I could do that but also outlined the impact those decisions might have. Laurie was also very respectful of coming at this in a collaborative and non-confrontational manner with my ex and their lawyer. I was very concerned about drama and this manner decreased the risk of that. From the start Parris was the best! She was very kind, clear with her communications, expectations, etc. and made me feel comfortable with the whole prenup process. She explained the process thoroughly in terms that I could understand. I'm a nurse so the legal jargon is like a foreign language to me. After consulting 3-5 different lawyers, I decided to go with Parris and it was the best decision I could have made. Not only is she amazing as described above but she was anywhere from 2-3 times cheaper than other prenup or family law lawyers. I was fortunate to work with Parris. In my divorce she was my 3rd attorney, so I had a chance to see how other attorneys could or could not handle my case, perform, and act upon my instructions in my best interests.
It was my first ever divorce and I did not know what to expect from the process or how the system worked.
My first attorney did not have a right to attend the court.
My second attorney seemed to be just interested in more money, with little to no help for me. He also was an expensive embarrassment in court.
So, when Parris agreed to take my case on, I was skeptical of the outcome. It ended up being best decision I could have made.
Parris is a true professional. She knows what to say and when not to say anything. She is fluid and well versed with legal procedure and the system. She dealt with the opposing council graciously, timely, and meticulously.
In court she was supportive to me and calm, with a professional and friendly attitude towards the opposing council and the judge.
The other side, despite a 3.5-year divorce process, was not well prepared. This cost them every point and detail that Parris was prepared for.
I wish there were more attorneys like Parris. She was a truly precious find for me and I am forever grateful!

I had been contacting several lawyers about getting a divorce when I couldn't locate my spouse and they were tremendously expensive for this type of divorce. I contacted Mr. Marlowe about this and he was very reasonably priced so I hired him. His staff is the best and handled every detail swiftly andprofessionally. The communication was extraordinary an d they kept me advised at every step along the way. Finally the completed the process of trying to locate my ex with no luck and were able to get me a signed decree of divorce by the judge with no issues.
I couldn't recommend anyone more highly than Russell Marlowe and his staff. You can place you issue in their hands and relax because if they tell you they can get it done they will.
I almost wish I had another issue to hire them for, they were that efficient and handled it all from start to finish.

I hired Mr. Marlowe for a somewhat complex interstate family law matter. My issues were heard in Pasco County and Mr. Marlowe secured a favorable decision for me.
Mr. Marlowe’s staff are courteous and professional and there seems to be good continuity in communication between him and his employees. I never felt apprehensive about reaching out to him or his staff because they’d kindly receive any messages or phone calls. If they were, unavailable or needed to look into something, they would return my calls extremely fast and would have an answer for me.
In the Court Room:
Russ spoke clearly, concisely and accurately. Our Judge had no questions for my side because of how Russ prepared my documents. He clearly defined the issue and gave expert legal foundation for the arguments he presented.
Mr Marlowe’s most outstanding quality to me is his responsiveness and attitude towards me. He never seemed bothered or hurried in conversation, allowed me to speak and listened to my concerns. His fees were all reasonable and he was gracious with his time.

Unfortunately had to go through a divorce and had to find a lawyer. When I met Ester she was very kind, listened to my story and gave me most of my options I could proceed with going forward. I wasn’t rushed or hurried in our initial meeting like I had been with other lawyers who wanted large sums just to talk with me for a short period of time and not very helpful with information. As we went through the process of the divorce she kept my emotions in check but did not dismiss them, which was nice knowing she understood where I was coming from, but guided me on the best path to pursue. But when it became apparent that we would have to be aggressive in our actions she definitely was up to it. Trust me when I say she will go toe to toe with any lawyer and will not be bullied around. When it was obvious that my marriage was at an end, I retained Judy’s counsel on the advice of another friend who was going through the process. Judy has been practicing in family law her entire legal career and it shows in her level of expertise and experience.
On the first four-way call with my spouse and her counsel, Judy demonstrated her command of divorce law and basically wiped the floor (in a polite way) with the opposing counsel. Apparently, my spouse felt the same way and promptly hired a new attorney.
Fortunately, my spouse was amicable, and we agreed to the terms of the separation. Her new attorney wrote up a first draft of the Agreement and after review, Judy felt the Agreement was too vague and poorly written, so she basically rewrote the whole thing. Judy also took the time to review the Agreement with me line by line and ensured that I was very clear on the more salient terms and legal jargon.
The overall process went smoothly, and Judy made sure to inform me of the process and communicated strategy the whole time. She was very accessible and responsive whenever I had a question.
My only regret in working with Judy is that I didn’t heed her sage counsel early on hoping that I could somehow save the marriage.
Additionally, as a favor to me and because she has a high degree of empathy, Judy agreed to speak with my sister regarding her divorce which is a nightmare. My sister was so impressed with Judy that she tried to retain her, however Judy explained that sometimes it’s best not to make a change when three years into the process with other counsel.
Lastly, while Judy is a rockstar, she has a great band working with/for her. Everyone I interacted with at Egan law was highly talented and capable in their roll.
The process of divorce is very difficult and painful and I thank God that was able to retain Judy’s representation.

I recently found myself in the middle of a "gray" divorce. 70 years old, married for 13 years to a woman that turned on me. I decided to represent myself in court, defending my pension, Social Security, health care, non marital assets, bank accounts and such. It didn't take long for me to realize I needed a professional consultation as her attorney's proposal was outrageous and would ruin me financially for the rest of my life.
Karen's name was highly recommended by a close friend. A quick email to her office and I scheduled a consultation.
I'm a good judge of people and immediately knew she was the person I wanted representing me. No nonsense or small talk. Straight to the point. Professional and knows the law. I knew she had my back.
