I have to say that Marivette is the most amazing woman to ever grace a family law court room she’s firm she’s talented she’s attentive she’s caring she’s warm she’s aggressive (in court rooms) and she loves her clientes and she has gone above and beyond. When it came to representing a single father and fighting for his rights. She was the only attorney I was going to allow to represent me. She was able to make sure I was able to be in my daughters life and continue to be an active father in her life. I made the best decision in life to hire her when I saw her accolades in her office and on her wall she had a plaque and it read VP for fathers rights in the state of Florida I believe it was like acknowledgment plague she had. Let me ask you when u think of hiring her … Has a Latina ever lost an argument ??? My husband and I were in a horrific accident that resulted in a near head on collision that completely totaled our truck and travel trailer. The insurance company for the driver, Elephant insurance, refused to pay some of the medical bills to include plastic surgery for the scars on my face, and repeatedly ignored my calls and emails over a two year period in an attempt to run through to the statute of limitations. I couldn’t find an attorney that would take my case. All with excuses, but with only one week to the deadline, I searched again and had the great fortune of finding and retaining Ms Hazel. All I can say is, wow. She jumped right in and investigated every possible avenue to get this situation resolved, to include my own insurance company that withheld funds. This is a gal that knows what she is doing and not afraid to go after those responsible. I’m in awe, and will absolutely recommend her to my family and friends. I hope I’m never in a situation like this again, but if I am, she will be my first phone call.

I recently hired Mr. Louie to defend a charge of speeding at 80mph in a 55mph zone. As an out of state resident, I was surprised to learn that this is automatically considered reckless driving in Virginia, which itself is considered a misdemeanor in the state. Mr. Louie's counsel resulted in a proper outcome which was in line with our goal of avoiding a reckless driving charge.
Both Mr. Louie and his staff were professional and attentive throughout the process, and his experience is demonstrated by his knowledge and calming presence. It is obvious that Mr. Louie has a strong working relationship with many parties in the Virginia Beach area. I believe that this is an asset for an area with such a large out of state/military population and relatively harsh traffic laws. Overall great job!

I was pulled over for going 37 over the limit. I did not know how strict the laws in VA since I'm from NJ. I had called several lawyers who I just didn't trust or like. So I went with my gut and chose Peter Louie. My instinct was spot on. Peter is realistic, knowledgeable and most importantly honest. I was facing jail, license suspension, a misdemeanor and a $3500 fine. I walked away with a $400 dollar fine. Everything else was dropped, no jail . no 3500 dollar fine, no suspension and no misdemeanor.
Do as Peter says and all will be alright. I highly recommend Peter Louie and his firm.

I went through a HORRIFIC 2+ year long high-conflict divorce from a narcissistic man who verbally and physically abused me in front of our young child. Yasmeen was my 3rd lawyer and I am thankful to God every day that I finally found her. I could tell right away that she is a person of the highest integrity and retains expert knowledge of the legal process. Beyond those stunning traits, emotionally, she was my rock as she guided me through the incredibly traumatic process of extricating myself from my toxic marriage and fighting for custody of my child. My ex and his low-vibrating energy monster of a lawyer did everything in their power to break me: Manipulation, lying, defamation, disregarding court orders, twisting the truth, and hiring "expert" witnesses to try to discredit and demonize me. Yasmeen remained optimistic and unshaken, having full confidence every time I spoke to her that we would win. She encouraged me not to give up, even though I wanted to so badly so many times as this process nearly broke me as a person. But, in the end, Yasmeen came through for me and my child, and we won at trial in a big way. I can't say that I'll ever feel fully vindicated after what my ex put me through, but at least my child has me as the primary parent with full decision making, safe and supported, which makes the whole thing worth it.

The Premier Point HOA Board in Solomons Maryland was exceptionally well represented by Paul Urey during a years long issue with a community property owner. The issue at hand was an owner (one of six) that decided to sue the HOA and the Board members as well as the community builder, because they "didn't have enough water at their dock slip...." They sued for over 10 Million with their actual property value of less than $450,000!
Paul was provided by State Farm our insurer and helped us through each step of the process - from an unsuccessful attempt at negotiation through arbitration (the failure the stubbornness of the party suing...) and getting to what would have been a trial that we were more than ready for. He ably and professionally assessed the factors that arose as a part of the suit that would have made for an exceptional movie on how not to sue an HOA - nor who to have in a courtroom as a part of your representation. He worked through professional (ethical) errors on the part of the other attorney, to the final resolution that ensured the HOA and the Board were not financially saddled nor encumbered by future issues that might have affect our property values.
Paul helped and was involved with our case through every step and we felt that he was a genuine and critical key element in the effort. Paul worked with the other legal representatives for the other defendants and ensured they were fully informed of our Board actions (and we had thorough documentation for every issue) and how it affected their defendants representation. Towards the end, he also represented related factors to the Judge for the case and then to the new legal representation for the HOA member suing.... That communication helped to get us to an equitable ending.
Though this summary is short - it should clearly state that we had full confidence in Paul's representation and the outcome of the case and would change nothing.

Lauren Leffler was just the attorney my family needed. My spouse and I approached her with the thought we were making small edits to our wills, but she helped us realize that we needed a full revamp. She was really knowledgeable about our unique needs and we feel secure that our wishes will be upheld thanks to our documents that she created. It would not have happened with the old ones. We’re so relieved to have found her!
A few months later, we needed to update my parents’ documents, this was much more of a time crunch than ours. After our good experience, I reached out to her for help. She got their documents done with the speed we needed. She was equally knowledgeable about my parents’ needs, which were very different from my own. We’ve been doing a lot of meetings for my parents these days getting their affairs tidied up, and Lauren has been the only one who has come to the initial consultation meeting having read their existing documents in advance.
Their office is easy to get to, but for my housebound parents, she came to their apartment.
My sibling plans to use Lauren to update their documents, my other sibling who lives out of state is disappointed they can’t use her (they asked).

I called Dana and hired him to represent a family member in a DUI case. Dana looked at all of the discovery materials and one thing didn’t quite feel right to him. He requested follow up documentation from the DA’s office, who stalled and deferred for close to a year, postponing court dates multiple times. Dana didn’t back off, and the DA finally admitted that he didn’t have the media Dana was requesting.
He negotiated a favorable plea agreement that was far better than what we thought was possible. I’d hire Dana again without hesitation.

I was in a car wreck oct. 2015, Mr.Vaughn and his staff helped me fight State Farm . Mr.Vaughn did an excellent job with my case. Before the trial he kept in touch with me ,went over everything that would be going on in the court room.
