Absolutely hated having Kelly represent me! $2100 paid up front. He got his money and almost 2 weeks went by with no call back, so I called the office. They had the wrong court date. Then he had me in a zoom court appearance, that I didn’t need to be in. I got up showered, worried, etc, for nothing. I complained to him, I could not afford to have things messed up, and all he did was interrupt, talk over me, and tell me neither he, nor his office, had time to call the courts, and double check the dates. So what did I pay $2100 for?? I was in court for another charge, but that was another $1500, so I told him, I’d go alone, because I couldn’t afford the second payment. The judge had him called, and MADE him come to court! In the end, I still got a year probation, $1,000 in fines, have to take state tests that are degrading and humiliating. My clean record, my lawyer, none of that got me out of even more punishments, for a misdemeanor! I asked him to send me a copy, showing the time he spent on my case. He got all ticked about that too. He sent me papers that said nothing but flat fee, because I wouldn’t doubt, he spent maybe an hour on my case, total, if that. No hours were shown whatsoever! If you want a horrible communicator, who can’t be bothered to get the dates right, and blame the corona virus, and ‘the court system’, and anything but his lack of work, or non work- Kelly is the guy for you!
