Fyi... Michigan has a statute of limitations of six years, which applies to all types of debts. This means that if a debt is more than six years overdue or hasn't been paid in more than six years, creditors cannot take legal action.

Horrible experience to deal with. Tried talking to a supervisor and they told me I had to submit a request in writing for a supervisor to call me back. They tried garnishing my wages from a company I never worked for and have already paid off debt.

Awful. I tried 12 times to pay off my boyfriends debts and they make it impossible to even pay your debt. Very unprofessional and when I was speaking with the representative she cut me off mid sentence and hung up.

Velo law office was going to take me to court on behalf of another bill collector. Although their job is to collect and act against the defendent (myself), they were very helpful and polite. I have heard a lot of horror stories about bill collectors being rude to people. They were able to put a counter offer through, the plaintiff accepted and they were able to avoid us going to court which saved me about $150 in costs. Thank you for your assistance. Being polite goes a long way with collections. If anyone needs a debt collected or sued for, go to Velo.

They claim I owe for a balance that was dismissed by the courts. They have started garnishing my checks that are small enough as is. But I am calling FOX 17 Problem Solvers and expose them if I dont recieve my money. Then get my lawyer and sue for punitive damages.
