After facing a financial disaster because of illness and some serious bad employment decisions I tried to use a debt relief program but could not make the monthly payments. My husband and I decided to join together and file a joint bankruptcy. Navigating the bankruptcy requires knowledge of the process, dealing with the creditors and protecting the property you want to keep. Jeff provided the guidance we needed to make the right decisions. Yuliy and his staff took our train wreck of paperwork and intertwined financial fiasco to an outcome well beyond our expectations. It started with a meeting where we were given their full attention (no random calls or smart phone dings) to walk through our situation and present the initial roadmap to the beginning of financial solvency. Once we agreed to move forward, they coached us through the process of data collection and review to fine tune the roadmap into a plan. With a bit more dialogue, we landed on a finalized version of the plan. After that point (for us), the process was smooth sailing from soup to nuts. Yuliy and his team found all the bumps and pitfalls and smoothed them out long before our 341 occurred. We were well coached on what each of the questions could be and had prepared for what and how we would answer each. Having completed that meeting, it was just waiting for the final decision. Even through that process, Yuliy and his team supported us all the way to final paperwork and untangling the last of our knots. We have now been able to move into a new phase of our lives without looming financial crises hanging over our head at every turn. in 2010 after contacting at least 10 other attorneys i was referred to Jeff Bigelman, by another attorney. I was fighting a crooked bankruptcy attorney hired my x who was trying to take my house granted to me in a prior divorce. I had 2 children and emotionally a wreck.
