Katie Lammers has been my attorney for several years (working with her since around 2011) and I could not imagine having a better legal representative. I have a young child with my (now) ex-wife and my ultimate goal from the beginning was achieving equality in status between myself and my ex-wife and I wanted to have 50/50 visitation. While this was a long-time goal it took small steps to get there. While I’m easy to work with I do have a lot of anxiety and as many people can imagine, family cases like this can be extremely stressful. I needed an attorney who was both understanding and accommodating and Katie has always exceeded my expectations in every way. There were times when I received communication from the ex or from the parental consultant that I needed analysis on as soon as possible and Katie always did her best to get back to me as quickly as she could. There were times when I felt so alone and scared and had no idea what I was going to do but Katie was that one constant who I could always count on. I realize when you hire an attorney their job is to represent you and your interests to the best of their ability whether they like you or not. It’s their legal obligation. However, I never felt Katie was doing her job for the money or because she had to. She was genuine and sincere and I know for certain Katie cared about me, my child and my case and this came through in all of her communication with me as well as her work with opposing counsel, multiple parental consultants and the Judge. My story consisted of many “legal battles” so to speak that took place over several years, each with different objectives and while I don’t have enough characters allotted to me in this review to share all the details, I must convey two extremely key points: 1. Katie argued in court on my behalf against recommendations from a parental consultant and fought to get me more overnights than I was assigned and we won. 2. I now have 50/50 visitation with my son. I now have the equality I sought for so many years since my divorce. I have the peace of mind I never dreamed of having since the divorce. I didn’t know it was actually achievable but it’s here and I have Katie to thank. I don’t think I can adequately express in words the impact Katie has had on my life (and my son’s). She was there for me, no matter what. But she has always acted in a way to complement how I am. When I was really scared, she put me at ease. When I was nervous, she calmed me. When I felt various situations or the legal “stuff” was too complicated, she helped me understand it all. If you’re considering hiring an attorney, I am pleading with you to go with Katie. Why would I plead with a stranger to hire “my” attorney? Because I want you to have the chance at feeling the same peace of mind I do. I think everyone deserves to have the very best legal representation they can get and I cannot imagine a better attorney than Katie.

Don't ever choose this lawyer. He screwed up my comp case, I lost everything in the processes including my job. He won't even call me back or acknowledge me. The only good thing about them is their receptionist marina.

What can I say about Katie... She is a blessing in disguise!! I reached out to her initially because she was on a list of attorneys local to myself whom worked with the legal service provided by my employer. Specifically, I was looking to get some advise with my custody situation at the time. Of all the contacts I reached out to, she was the most quick to respond as she understood the urgency of my matter. I was fearful speaking with an attorney and everything to do with the process initially, but she assured me that our meetings were confidential until I wanted to or was ready to share... After our initial meeting and some thought, I decided to retain her for my services. My decision was based on what I saw and heard. She was understanding, knowledgeable, and realistic of where things stood and what could be achieved for my child's safety and future. Throughout our attorney/client relationship, Katie was always prompt to respond, and explained exactly how the process would go. She ensured that I understood all of the legal jargon, and what the future held with the decisions I made in court. It was a long process, but at the end of the day, the results of my case could not have come out better. Not saying that it will go like this for everyone, but I never stepped foot into court besides reading our decisions on record. My ex and I were able to come to an agreement after a few sessions in Mediation. We were able to talk through our differences and issues with the assistance of our attorneys and mediator, and met in the middle for the best possible future for our child. Katie was very easy to deal with, and always went out of her way to ensure that I was comfortable not only by offering beverages and a comfy seat when I arrived, but also ensuring that I was okay with what was happening in and out of the court room throughout the whole process. We went over the events and documentation countless times; however many it took to make sure I was comfortable with the end result and getting the best scenario for my child. In the occurrence that Katie was out, there was always someone (professional and knowledgeable) to fill her shoes. They were always briefed on my case prior to my arrival, so that we were all on the same page. Everyone at the firm always greeted me with a smile, and went out of their way to help!! I sought Katie's services to represent me in what should have been a simple divorce. My ex husband was extremely uncooperative and unresponsive during the 4 year process but Katie and her colleagues handled him with professionalism, patience and worked tirelessly to keep the process in motion. Katie and her team provided me with ample information throughout the process and typically responded to my questions within the business day. I feel that I was very well represented, Katie and her team were always prepared and forthcoming with what I should expect and how I should prepare. I would highly recommend Katie, it was money very well spent. I am thankful to Katie for representing me, her talent and passion for her craft positively changed my life and vastly improved my situation!

Katie is excellent. I had a complex case and Katie was able to step in and offer a strategic plan to obtain a favorable outcome. Katie is prompt and on top of correspondence. She is calm and collective in court and yet remains tough on the other side if needed. Katie hears out your concerns and genuinely cares. Katie came to court prepared and fully knowledgeable about what was going on. She was able to accomplish a favorable outcome for me and my child! I would highly recommend.

Katie is really personable and professional. She is very tough with the other side when need be but is also very understanding. I felt she represented my interests very accurately and well. I highly recommend her for family law.

Katie and her team were amazing. I had a unique case that called for specifics in my hearings, court papers, and extra papers/notions filed outside of more of the "normal" cases. All of my questions were answered and the extras were done to make sure my kids and I was covered and protected on all aspects. Thank you Katie and Team for everything you did for my family. Katie is a excellent attorney. She listens to your concerns and advises you according to what she feels to win your case. I had her 2 times for my spousal support reduction when petitioner tried to get it reduced after he retired early. Katie has won my case to continue to have spousal support 2 times when petitioner tried to get it reduced. I would recommend Kathryn Marie Lammers very much for family law or divorce attorney.

Is a professional that cares on a personal level, she took the time to explain the FENE process that seen unfair at the time. She had the patience to advise on emails communication with my ex. She shared without hesitation her professional network (mediators, appraisals and mortgage loaner). She made herself available and answered promptly my questions. sure be more lawyers helping with relocation specially when is clear to PROVE the other parent is after you don't metter what... I'm going trough exactly a situation that my only hope really for me and my son to have a safe happy and normal life will be if the courts will lete move at least til my son is more stable, strong healthier abd has growth normal away from a drama long criminal record, that doesn't know how to love, and think that buying a 5 year old is equal LOVE?... where money, destruction, and power is all he is looking for and continually expresses to you that he will not be happy til he has been through you..?! all is left to you...is to hold your son and run far FAR away!...
