My wife and I decided to get our estate plan in place recently. The entire staff we worked with including Claire, Justine, and Britta, helped make the process seamless. My parents also had their estate planning done at Yanowitz. The staff has been amazing and very helpful. Thank You!

We did what most people probably do when they are looking for a Law Firm to help with Wills or Trusts, search Law Firms in your area and look at customer reviews to start narrowing down the list (overall average rating and # of ratings).... Then we focused on Firms that mainly specialized in Wills/Trusts (there are many out there that don't), and finally started making a few phone calls to the Firms on our 'short list'. We talked to Alec Osland at Yanowitz, and immediately felt comfortable with him and his expertise on the subject. Surprisingly the entire process ended up being pretty easy, with my wife and I talking through our initial thoughts/wants, having Alec providing his input based on our discussion and questions, and then a few follow-up meetings to work out the details and answer more questions if needed..... And, I have to add that Alec was just the right amount of 'persistent' along the way to make sure we got this done (thanks Alec, as we have been procrastinated on this for years). I can confidently say that once you have signed the final documents, it really feels good knowing that you have done the right thing for your entire family and/or friends. We would highly recommend using Alec Osland at Yanowitz Law Firm for any Will or Trust needs!!

Claire and her whole team were very efficient in getting our wills & health care paperwork done, yet they never made us feel rushed. We appreciated Claire answering all the questions we had, and she always had answers and advice in how to avoid our potential pitfalls. We had been putting it off for a number of years but after attending the Community Ed class that Claire holds, we felt she was the right one to proceed with. Another helpful thing, you know exactly what your case will cost at the end of the first meeting. It was stream-lined and non-stressful. I highly recommend her and her team ! Claire is a gem!

My wife and I have worked with Claire on two updates to our wills and trusts. She and her organization are highly attentive, a pleasure to work with, and provide wise counsel. And if legalese/contract isn't your first language and you procrastinate on executing the strategies, she is proactive in staying on top of you to get your accounts and documentation in order. At the end of the day, my family and affairs are more secure for the work that Claire and the Yanowitz Law Firm put in.

After a life change I needed to update my estate plans. Even though I had moved out of the area I was able to complete everything online and by phone. Within two weeks I stopped by the office to sign papers. It was with great relief I can now travel and move ahead.

Putting together a family trust with the Yanowitz team was a positive experience. The process was straight forward beginning with a virtual introduction discussion at no charge. I had confidence in the capabilities of every staff member I interacted with. Overall, a very good experience.

Claire Yanowitz was very efficient and clear in her discussion of our estate plan. We were overwhelmed by the quantity of paperwork and did get answers to our questions. Now we are in the process of correctly titling our assets in the estate plan. I find that we need more help then I had originally anticipated because it is very complicated. I have previously received the help we needed and found all the personnel to be very helpful and competent.

My husband and I were referred to Alec Osland by our financial planner in regard to setting up a trust. We are from Crystal, MN so did almost everything via zoom, emails and phone calls which worked out well. Alec did a great job in giving the information we needed and answering all our questions.
