I live in the Andover/Blaine area northwest of the Twin Cities and there are plenty of options patent and trademark attorneys that are closer to me in Minneapolis but I speficially choose to make the longer drive to St. Paul to do business with Johnson and Phung due to the quality if their work, their responsiveness, and the competiveness of their rates compares to some of the law firms that I've done business with in the past. I've referred multiple friends to them and everyone of them tell me that they've had the same positive experience as mine.

My personal experience with this firm confirmed why every review is 5 stars. All communication from the very beginning were quickly attended to and have been great. Thomas takes the time to listen and understand everything and answer every questions that I had. Everyone I come into contact with at the office is friendly and professional.

It was a pleasure doing business with this firm and Thomas. He knows his stuff, is enjoyable to chat with and explains things in a very clear manner and will give it to you straight. Nobody likes billings but I never felt like I was nickle and dimed and there were never any surprised invoices because he made an effort to obtain my approval before sending me a bill. I would not think of going to anyone else for future patent and trademark work.

I initially went to this firm back some time ago looking help in obtaining a trademark that I had come up with. Met with Thomas who told me that it was going to be hard for me to get the mark that I wanted based on what's out there. I went to another attorney who told me that I had a good chance of getting that mark so I had him file the application for me. I never did get that trademark even after paying that other attorney a bunch of money to fight the trademark office. So when I needed to file for another trademark I back to Thomas because I realized that I would rather have my attorney give it to me straight rather then hire a yes man who just want my money. Thomas has since obtained 3 trademarks for me and I have been recommending him to everyone that ask me.

Thomas helped me obtain 8 copyrights for my songs and his service was excellent and I felt that I got value for the money that I spent. I would recommend his law firm to anyone that needs patent, trademark, or copyright attorney work done.

I usually dont like to deal with lawyers but Thomas at Johnson and Phung help me obtain a trademark for my small business branding and it was one of the least painfull (close to enjoyable) experience that ive had and i would recommend Thomas and the attorneys and Johnson and Phung for anyone that needs patent or trademark work done. I'm from southern MN and have been working with a patent firm in the east coast for some time and recently was looking for a firm that was more local to me and wanted to kill 2 birds with one stone by meeting with some Patent firm's while I'm in the twin cities for a Wilds game. I was able to meet with 2 firms as 2 of the other firm's that I call didn't have any attorneys that could meet with me. Thomas of Johnson and Phung was the last firm that I met with and I'm glad that I was able to meet with him because he was very knowledgeable and yet laid back and made me feel comfortable with all of the questions that I had. I never felt that he pushed for my business which further sold me to his firm. I also liked the fact that his firm's rates were much less expensive than the rates that I was use to. I am expecting to transfer all of my legal patent business to hos firm shortly and would revommend that anyone looking for patent or trademark work done visit his firm at some point.

I previously went through legal zoom to file my a trademark and a patent application. Both got messed up and when I contacted them they said that they can't help me but could refer me to some Patent attorney that charged an astronomical fee. I decided to check around and had a meeting with Tom who was help me to salvage the situation at the lowest cost possible. For example he told me that instead of having him try and correct all the issues that we're wrong with my trademark application and not knowing if the trademark office will accepted it, it would cost half as much to have him file for a new application. I completely recommend this firm and will go to them from now on. By the way, go to legal zoom at your own risk.

I live on the west side of the twin cities and hate driving in the metro but still make the drive all the way over to Saint Paul to work with these patent attorneys even though there are plenty of options closer to me in Minneapolis and on the west side of the twin cities because of the services, rates, and results that they provide and would highly recommend them to others.

I've used different patent attorneys in the past with mixed result and luckily stumbled on these guys through Google and based on my experience these guys really know their stuff. And it's an added bonus that they're very reasonably priced for their service compared to what other firm's are charging. Obviously I highly recommend them and will not be looking for any other firm's to handle my patent work.

I obtained a patent with this firm years ago and moved out of state for a job relocation. It wasn't until I interviewed and hired local patent attorneyd there that I realized not only how great of a job Johnson and Phung did but also how fairly price they were compared to other patent firm's. Being an amateur inventor I would contact these new attorneys once in a while to throw out potential new ideas or check up on my case and every time I did I received a bill shortly after and I never did with Johnson and Phung. I also rarely reached an attorney on the first call and I always did with this firm. Even though I live in a different state I have since gone back to Johnson and Phung for all my patent and trademark work and obviously highly recommend them.
