I reached out to Gail Mattey after being referred by a friend of mine as I needed some help on my divorce decree. She responded promptly and thoroughly to every question I had.

I am the petitioner for an HRO case, and hired AFL for representation. I know a few that knew my situation felt I should have gone with a criminal law attorney, but AFL was one of the ONLY websites that said they work with both petitioners and respondents. AFL was professional, and they treated me respect and dignity the entire time, regardless of the subject surrounding my concern of safety. Samantha really went to bat for me to make sure my measures for safety were kept in place. I know if you’re reading this you’re probably looking at where to invest your dollars as representation tends to add up quickly. Yes, this did cost me more than I anticipated, other firms were not even offering retainers regarding Harassment Orders as “they don’t see money from them.” I will tell you AFL was $3,500 CHEAPER than a place trying to charge a flat fee to help me, and provided the same professionalism. When you’re dealing with harassment and concerned for you’re safety, I noticed/felt a couple firms took that opportunity to profit off your emotion. I felt my case with AFL was charged properly for the time invested, and very appreciative that they were okay with a retainer. They were up front about their rates, retainers, and how they charge. When it came to negotiations, they let me make the call, not steered me to what could be easier for them. I appreciated their time, respect, and that they treated this matter with utmost importance and care for my safety. While I hope I will never have to hire them again, I would recommend them for HRO cases, and can see how they would be great for family cases.

I have been trying to see my son for awhile now I got ahold of Gail Mattey with Atticus family law and words themselves can't describe how grateful I am she took my case and fought for me to see my son like she was fighting for her own child and in the end got what I was looking for if you have any family issues I would greatly recommend Atticus family law
