I was denied assistance, although the representative who took my information showed concern for the people. No one had the decency to tell me why. Why?

Wrong side of history, apparently. I have offered them two cases that were easy wins and potentially lucrative. The current one is pressing, and it is a matter in which my health is at stake. They refused both cases. While they have the right to do that, they also bear the responsibility for how that might be interpreted. Both of these issues pertained to disabilities. One was ADA violations, disability discrimination, and whistleblower violations. It would have been laughably easy to prove. I could almost have argued it myself. Actually, I could have. I just don't know the nuts and bolts of the case filing process. You have to be a special kind of callous to not help someone in my shoes--especially since these cases would have been open and shut. You aren't for the people or you would have been for me. All you offered was the phone number for the Missouri Bar. I have Google.
