Kris Boevingloh did a great job for me!! Highly recommend his services!!

This was my first time I ever needed a lawyer, and I am glad I called Boevingloh & Pliakos. I didn't have to show up in court, Kris took care of it and had my case dismissed in no time. I am so very satisfied with the outcome. I will refer this law firm to all my friends.

I can't not recommend Kris high enough! He is no-nonsense lawyer who is a pitbull for his clients!

Great experience. I would recommend. They took care of everything. Worked hard and are smart, outside of the box thinkers. They helped both me and my wife on separate occasions and are a good firm to work with.

I had retained him to draft 2 letters. First letter was written no problem, charging $750.00 for three hours. After the initial letter he wrote, he said to contact him to discuss strategies. At that point we were led to believe that by sending a second letter it would prove helpful to my case. I paid $500.00 at this point. After a month there was no word on the status of the letter he stated he would author and send. Two calls and two emails were placed inquiring as to the status of the letter. I called to ask the status of it and he said he was working on it which turned into he was planning on working on it. He argued with me over their merits of the case after he recommended pursuing a second letter due to violations still occurring and stated "I don't know what good writing it will do." At this point I lost faith in what I had retained him to write and asked for a refund. I was advised to write him a written letter requesting a refund of my $500.00 retainer. I drafted and sent the letter, a week later I got my refunded retainer. However, it was accompanied with a bill for $67.00. He charged $25.00 for reading one email sent to him giving him an update on our end and inquiring about the status of the letter. The other misc charges came from "conference calls" and long distance phone call fees to speak with him. He also included on the invoice for the $67.00 "letter received from client terminating representation" - no charge. When I had spoken with him initially on the phone there was never a mention of services due, as to he had not worked on the letter I had asked to that point. Only to to send him a written notice and my retainer would be returned. I would inquire before retaining him of the following. His retainer fees are very high, as well as the itemized with multiple misc charges. If your case occupies any period of his work day it will be added to the bill. .10 hours - reading an email $25.00 and .20 hours on a phone call $50.00. Lectures and argues with client more than counsels and advises.

If you are being sued by a debt collector IMO you can't afford not to hire this firm. When I was going through this at least a half dozen firms wanted my business. I'm so glad I chose Boevingloh and Pliakos. Kris is awesome no other way to put it, a calm reassuring manner when you need it the most. The office staff is awesome and professional as well. I never had the privilege of meeting Mr Pliakos...but I'm sure he's awesome too. Five stars plus ......................Tim Mc

This was an amazing experience to have Mr. Boevingloh handled a matter that I have been trying to resolve for several years. Within 2 weeks, it was resolved and gone. I highly recommend this team!!!

James is a very caring and concerned person when it comes to dealing with you on a personal level. He was very interested in what I had to say and told me I could call him night or day, even if it was just to speak about the tragedy that had happened to me. He has always been honest with me whether it be good news or bad news. I feel as though he was actually sent to me, my guardian angel. Anyone who decides to go with him can feel very relieved that whatever the outcome is he did his best. He walked me through each and every step of the process and explained why whenever it was something he thought was best for the case. His years of experience with the firm he works for has proven that they have the resources and the dedication to get the results you are looking for.

Kris Boevingloh was exceptional to work with. He was very prompt, courteous and extremely helpful. Communication was great and I always felt well-informed. If I had questions, he was quick to reply - even on nights/weekends/holidays. While he was upfront about not being able to guarantee any specific outcome, he made me feel confident my case was being handled by a professional and that things would be completely handled. Kris did manage to get the best possible result, which I never would have thought was even feasible. His fees are clear and very reasonable - and ultimately, he saved me a lot! Shortly after my parents funerals, started receiving calls and letters from collection agencies wanting me to pay off my parents debts. Trying to pay my parents debts, funerals as well as my own living expenses put my finances off very badly. The first thing that Boevingloh & Pliakos had me do was stop paying those debts, explained that I was not responsible for them. Then they went about helping me get my finances sorted and back on track. Boevingloh & Pliakos are very knowledgeable, very professional and very courteous. Receiving the letter from them when my finances first tanked saved me thousands in debts that I didn't even owe and I am forever grateful to them.
